The reason was because I had nothing to say. If I made up a huge post, it would be full of things already stated, and it would just fill up the screen with a block of fluff to prove myself town. It didn't start as an elaborate plan. It turned into a plan when I made the post to see if someone would opportunistically vote me. Also, it might have been more effective, but I'm not sure. It's not been my experience that replacements do not have to read the game. That's how you come up with your own unique insights. Parroting back other people's insights isn't helpful regardless of your alignment.
