Gorrad, you realise that we just lynched Tarhalindur for admitting to deliberately acting scummy? He said he had "reasons" too, reasons that he claimed were not dissimilar to yours. Why would you do essentially the same thing that JUST got a townie lynched, regardless of your alignment? This doesn't make good sense to me.

Additionally, what are "good" reasons for lurking? Do you think announcing that you're lurking and saying you're "happy to lynch or be lynched" are especially pro-town actions?

I can't think of a reason scum would be more likely to do this than town, though (please, someone, correct me if I'm wrong on that), so

unvote; vote Xpom Telo

because I really want an answer to the questions I asked him earlier.
"Oh, you can't help that," said the Cat: "we're all mad here. I'm mad. You're mad."
"How do you know I'm mad?" said Alice.
"You must be," said the Cat, "or you wouldn't have come here."

Gorrad wrote:While I've been here, I haven't seen anything that stands out as particularly scummy. When I wasn't part of the game, everything was already covered. Most of the posts as of late have been minimal, generally contentless, and boring. Phate, you're right. I've been following the game, but without something to comment on I won't waste my time posting. If you have something specific that you want my opinion on, by all means ask, but otherwise I won't say anything unless it'll help the town.
The reason was because I had nothing to say. If I made up a huge post, it would be full of things already stated, and it would just fill up the screen with a block of fluff to prove myself town. If I don't have anything to say, I won't say it.

As for Tar, yeah, I know he was lynched for admitting to acting scummy. We were at a standstill in my eyes, so I tried to get the conversation moving while defending against Skruffs. It's worked.

Eh, you said you didn't find anything in the game scummy, and that you weren't going to contribute until you did. You get called out and suddenly it was an elaborate plan?

Don't you think just scum hunting in the first place, would have been a bit more effective?

It didn't start as an elaborate plan. It turned into a plan when I made the post to see if someone would opportunistically vote me. Also, it might have been more effective, but I'm not sure. I made my choice and am sticking with it.

I at least would like him to answer.

Bookitty wrote:Who told you that, Xpom Telo? And why would you take the word of anyone else, without knowing their alignment?

It's not been my experience that replacements do not have to read the game. That's how you come up with your own unique insights. Parroting back other people's insights isn't helpful regardless of your alignment.
I was hoping that I could take the word of many others, gathering what they've said into a good wrap up.

I don't think I need to look at the previous day to gain any "unique insights." My "unique insights" can come from gleaming what's giong to happen this day and forward. So far, nobody's really contributing, so I've had nothing to add from this point forward.

My friend has insisted that you do not need to read the game (especially one that's 40+ pages...thank god) if you are replacing in. I wouldn't have replaced in if he hadn't told me otherwise.

Notice: I will be leaving Mafiascum in the near future. As a result, I will be cutting back on games where possible. I'm going to try not to be replaced if I can, but this is an advance notice that my activity WILL decrease.

On a reread of Faerielord, I am pretty happy with my vote where it is.
"Oh, you can't help that," said the Cat: "we're all mad here. I'm mad. You're mad."
"How do you know I'm mad?" said Alice.
"You must be," said the Cat, "or you wouldn't have come here."

Xpom telo:
You don't have to read the entire thread. However, you probably *should* find something to tallk about.. You, like gorrad, seem to be insinuating that you have no reason to look any further than others have already looked. How do you think that will help the town?

Well, it looks like xpom's the favored wagon. I'm going for phate because he fell into my clearly and obviously stated trap.

If it was 'clearly and obviously stated', why do you think I 'fell into it'? Does the fact that I quoted that post in my vote for you tell you anything? Do you think the fact that you all but said "If you vote for me, you're scum" without giving any good reason at all has anything to do with my voting you?
I will fuck up your name and gender. Deal with it.

PM me to replace into Infection Mafia, a semi-open Mini Theme.

Let me guess, you will also try to claim the last of the day, right?
