If you honestly want to make a wagon against me, can you give me more evidence to defend against, I don't particularly like just being attacked.

Well, honestly, I didn't attack you, nor did I vote/fos you. I simply answered a question someone had asked me.

This raises my eyebrows somewhat. Not because Mizzy is wrong, but because of how correct she is. Elmo asked her to analyze Miztef's post, and then people used her reasoning as a springboard for their votes. It puts the responsibility on Mizzy and not themselves, because they can always say they were "convinced" by Mizzy. The implications of this possibility don't make me happy, because Mizzy's logic isn't bad either, so I don't know how to differentiate between scum and people who genuinely believe Miztef is scum.

That bothers me, too, if only because I didn't see enough scumvibes in Miztef's post to FoS or vote him and I'm wondering what other people "see" in it. What I saw was evidence of an indecisive player...and whether or not that's a scumtell is too WIFOM to touch with a 10 foot pole.

I don't like Miztef's wagon...if only because there's no solid evidence against him in my opinion, there's only some raised questions.

Mainly the massclaim fiasco, but I didn't feel that was enough to warrant a vote alone.
Then the game died, so I placed a vote to get it moving.

a) More detail. "the massclaim fiasco" is not an explanation.
b) Placing a vote on someone merely "to get the game moving" that takes them to -1 is unacceptable, yaus?

a) Continuing to support a massclaim beyond a point where I felt it was universally proven to be a bad idea.
b) Not when my idea of "getting the game moving" consists mainly of getting it out of Day 1.

Too Townie is when a player attributes a number of pro-town actions to player, before using this as "evidence" of that players scumminess. What I said isn't a variant of Too Townie because I don't think that laying a fallback for yourself is a pro-town action.

Last time I checked, helping the town was a pro-town action. So either I'm deliberately trying to look like I'm helping while actually not, or I'm helping the town. If I'm not helping the town, point it out.

I did. That was the start of this argument. I said that I thought that a post of yours had far too many words in comparison to what you were actually saying. I felt that this action was

not

helpful for the town.

However, because of the high amount of words you'd written, I felt that you could attempt to pass this off as a large, content-loaded post. That is, you could try to make it look like you were helping while actually not.

And this is one of the hardest plots for a mini theme that I have seen. We have to be extremely careful, and we still don't have a plan for what happens when a mafia we find inevitably screams power role. This is not going to be a fast or an easy or a short game.

A nolynch is strictly better than the lynch of a townie.
Asking for a vanilla to claim (especially after someone already has claimed vanilla) is more likely to produce vanillas claiming vanillas than it is to produce scum claiming vanilla.
Lynching randomly is probably better than lynching someone who claims vanilla and volunteers themselves as the lynch.
Lynching based on suspicions is better than lynching someone who claims vanilla and volunteers themselves as the lynch.

because after a reread, I think I was correct in my initial suspicion of him, and if he turns out to be a townie after all, he will be decreasingly active in his games. I don't really want to be part of an endgame with a lurker.

Thanks for responding...yes, I agree. A random lynch would be better...if we get enough people to vote to even lynch at all.

I think I'll go back and re-read more, also...might have missed something.

I see we are getting back to the topic of to no lynch or not. I think the conclusion was that losing a townie during the night was worse then the potential knowledge of the power roles.

A random lynch may be a viable option, however, I think it should be narrowed down to about half the game, so at least it isn't purely random. Maybe everyone puts their top 3 scum, and we count all the names up (with a point system, like 3 points for most likely scum, 2 for 2nd and 1 for 3rd) and the 6 players with the most points will be randomly chosen between for the lynch, possibly giving more weight (chance of lynch) to those with the most point.

I don't think we will come to a useful conclusion today, but I think a lynch is necessary. Therefore, I opt "semi-random" lynch as the choice for today.
