Oh, this is also why I wanted to kill OTM, because of his possible connection to Phate. It was always my plan to kill OTM in the first lynch, then investigate phate.

Whats with you people and refering to lynches as "kill"? The only "kill" the town ever does is when we get to a deadline and let a lynch happen without a majority of votes. Other then that the only peopel who kill are Sks and scum...

I guess..
If we lynch QuickBen and turned up he is the scum. Then Phate is innocents, and Thanatos must be a scum. Vice versa - if QuickBen turned up townie, then Phate is scum.
If we lynch Phate and turned up he is the scum. Then Thanatos is innocents. Vice versa - if Phate turned out townie, then Thanatos is scum.

So, our Big Problem is which confirmed scum should we lynch, i.e. which "cop" should we trust >.>

I prefer to wait Phate's explanation first.
I just got a bad feeling that maybe Phate is an easy lynch because he threw "the plan" <.<

We have two claimed cops, one is lying. So today;s lynch is of course one of them as one is DEFINITLY scum. As for QB, I am pretty sure he is scum, and Phate wen't ahead and called him scum fro two reasons. A) It makes his claim more believeable as he "attacked" QB right off the bat. And 2) if we lynched QB, turned up scum, we believe phate. So we go ahead and lynch phate, he turns up scum, we then go on to "question" QB. Phate turns up town, I quit mafia forever... Well not forever.. like for 5 minutes.. i will be pretty dang surprised...

I'll practice my surprised face i won't be using... 8O

@Korlash: there's two claimed cop, yes, definitely one of them must be a fake (The logic I got: definitely the Cop flavour is in the innocents hand). But we can confirmed an innocents cop if we choose the right confirmed scum.
But if choose to lynch from the false cop perspective, actually it's just the same. If Phate-cop turned out scum, then QuicBen is innocents. If Thanatos-cop turned out scum, then Phate is innocents.
I just prefer we lynch from the confirmed scum perspective, that's all.

I see what Holy is saying. Instead of trying to determine from our two claimers which is cop, and possibly accidentally lynching our cop, we go after their claimed "confirmed scum." Can't use Phate, as that would defeat the purpose of the plan. But if we lynch QB and he is scum, then Phate wasn't lying and Thanatos is scum, and if QB is town, then Phate was lying and we lynch him. I think it could work.

The fact that Phate supports this make me even more hesitant.

It is entirely within reason for a scum to claim his buddy as his guilty, so that we trust him. Let's not dick around. Either me or Phate is lying. I'd rather you kill me than QUick ben, because at least you can kill phate (and then, probably, quickben. Either way, I'll likely investigate QB tonight, just in case)

Let phate make his case. I'll point out the contradictions faster than you can say Objection!

I don't disbelieve QB being scum. Quite the opposite, I think you turned in your own buddy to make yourself look good. I meant the case for you really being the cop.

The only case I have is that I'm the cop because I didn't claim right away on D2. That would be stupid, even WITH the doc and roleswitcher/reopener. The roleswitch/reopen will only work if neither are scum, and I'm positive the reopener is scum due to qb's post, so I basically have to rely on the doc to not be mafia and to not be killed.

So maybe I would have claimed, but CERTAINLY not this early, except that I had to counterclaim.
