You see, on MS, arsonists are -extremely- rare, almost to the point where they are solely considered as an abnormal role. I don't think Phate, being a newbie on MS and having no experience elsewhere (IIRC) would immediately think of such a thing unless he had some indication that would lean towards that.

JDodge: I play on IRC. server irc.globalgamers.net, channel #mafia. A quick meta of myself in any game (I believe there are two, but it may be one) with Xylthixlm, who is the admin of the channel, will confirm this.

Arsonists are much more common on IRC, and were my lucky role for a time. Right now my lucky role is cyborg: kill-immune townie who automatically steals any ability used against him, including mafiakill (which means if a mafia member tries to kill him, that particular mafia player may not kill, although any other mafia members still can, and he gains the ability to kill)

Now, one thing jumps out at me, and that is... how amazingly scummy I look. Me and Windshipper almost vote as pairs once you get past my 'it could be distancing' vote at the beginning. And yet, Phate lists me as the towniest player after him? How in the world could anyone reach that conclusion after looking at those votes unless they knew I was town to begin with?

Add to the fact that Phate is singling out Setael, the only person to not vote-hop around... and conviently has lock-jawed his vote onto... Phate.

We have nine players left, two nightkills happening, and only one scum caught. In a 19-player game, 4 or 5 seems to be the magic number for scum -- meaning we most likely have two or three mafia still alive, plus the arsonist/SK.

With nine players alive, that means 1/3rd to 1/2 of us are anti-town. We could be in a LYLO situation and not realize it. If we myslynch, the SK kills a townie, and the Mafia kills the SK, then it could be 3 scum, 3 town - Endgame. Something to think about.
