Shea, if this were D1, I'd banter with you. But the fact that everyone in this fucking game has been inactive for two solid gamedays and nobody is bothering to look for scum is really pissing me off. Glork, I'm in the process of doing a reread with some analysis.

It's taking some time. If you want my input without said analysis, that's fine. I'm still not going to vote until I have better information than I do now. And while you are cleared, I'm STILL not trailing your votes and suspicions without better evidence than I currently have. (I thought Ripley was scum, remember?)

Shouting at the rest of the town isn't all that helpful. It's possible (maybe not likely) that other people are doing a targeted reread themselves, and thus aren't posting for that reason.

I see no reason you would have assumed Sikario was town, given my personal meta with him, so for one, I think that assumption may be based on facts not in evidence. I want my own read on the situation, and I'm not going to rush to agree or disagree until I can analyse the game with the added information we have now.

Additionally, having a deadline in the middle of the holidays was unfortunate, and created a bad situation, but that's what we have to work with. I don't think that makes the town atrocious. I chose poorly, and maybe that would have been the case whichever way I went. But blaming the rest of the town for what I did, if that's what you mean, is not really fair.

I would agree with this analysis though.

Post 488 is just as useless as mine, but five times as dangerous. I dislike the random patrick vote thrown onto Patrick by Crub.

Shanba, I remember a day when I saw you come online and post in a bunch of other games and distinctly avoid this one. A quick look at your recent posts suggests that date was the 9th of December. I'm not really sure how you can deny spending more time in other games, up until post 490 you hadn't posted at all today despite the fact that the day has been going nearly 2 weeks.

Based on my own lurker tendencies.... I would guess that this is a null tell. I'm tired of seeing it, and it's used on me regardless of alignment. Usually avoiding games is dependent on the amount of work it takes, not entirely strategery.

I don't think Glork has that much of a meta on Ripley either..... I wish I would have been paying attention, because this is standard Ripley play.

For persistent refusal to post content for the whole of the day; consistent neglect over a sustained period that can't be put down to exams, holidays, illness etc etc. In a game where there's been a general feeling that nobody's been all that scummy, and people are struggling to find good reasons to vote, I think we might as well use the opportunity to ditch some deadwood. There's no reason to expect his play to change and the problem he presents will become ever more acute as numbers lessen.

Also, while I haven't played with Glork before he clearly has a fine reputation as a scumhunter, and has already listed half the players as protown: Crub, Elmo, IH, Glork, Andy, apple. If you put your faith in Glork here and believe he's protown, the chances of JDodge being scum look encouraging.

Andy and Crub seem to have posted just about as much as me, and not much more so far.

Oh shiz Crub posts a bandwagon vote for Rip "in the name of progress", and nothing else. I'm kind of certain this guys scum.

525 I'm unsure of.... Andy suddenly looks like he's lurker hunting, like he was only voting me until I posted something. While I find Crub suspicious, if Andy is scum, it looks like it's possible that Crub could be town. It's either distancing or lurker hunting.

Despite the incredible scumminess of Crub..... I think it's more likely that Andy is scum. Andy's need to only stay current with who's actually posting and mostly not much else and ignoring the argument against Ripley makes me feel like he's scum.

So today I'd say the correct play is Andy.

One thing I have noticed about Andy is that D1, he said that he's no good D1, and since then he really hasn't done anything at all. I gave him a free pass then, but he is a viable lynch candidate in my eyes.
