Nah, you are missing the point. I know my role. But it's not reveal on flip, so what shred of difference does it make to claim? I claim, scum calls my claim a lie and lynches me, no flip. Eventually the game ends and my alignment is revealed but scum already won.

Claiming isn't a useful play in this setup.
