I've already prodded Sikario and Ripley; Shanba's last post on the forum is on the V/LA thread and indicates that he won't be back until the 29th, so I didn't bother.

No one except {Patrick, Andycyca, Glork} has posted in the last 72 hours--say the word and I'll do more prods.

The deadline still kicks in at midnight Eastern tonight. The grace period will not be postponed.

Ether takes out the prodding stick and takes a jab through the bars. No response.

"Ripley, you need to get a hold of yourself and fight back," Patrick says. "They're not going to lynch you. You're not going to be executed. You're going to be okay."

"Yeah! Wake the hell up and start participating, Roby!" Ether says.

"Ripley," Patrick corrects.

Bookitty moves her vote.

"Ripley..."

"Eh, he's still not talking," Ether says. "Let's call that a lynch. Roby was town." She hauls Ripley onto her vacuum arm and leaves.

"His name is Ripley and he's my

," Patrick murmurs after her, into the darkness.

The night deadline might be extended depending on whether Sikario8 needs replacement or not. If in doubt, get your choices in by 12:15 AM Eastern on Sunday, December 30th.

NOTE: The exact details of how Thestatusquo came to replace Sikario won't be posted, because they were so horrible that my filter at school blocked them. Someone did write a songfic about the replacement, which was also very horrible, but for different reasons.

Wank opens one eye to peer in the direction of the noise. JDodge, who was already awake and arguing with Elmo about the practicality of playing chess with their loot, turns his whole head.

"My wife knocked out one of the guards and let me and the other wardens out. I was recaptured, but everyone else escaped...they've probably crossed the border by now. Now the high court's not sure who to group me with for my trial, so I'm in a temp-cell.
