You'll notice that, with three active wagons, the only one that is being seriously pushed is the one that is on scum, but SOMEHOW can't get enough votes to seal the deal?
Honestly. If Creature were Town, with 2.5 hours to deadline, scum would be CREAMING THEIR PANTS for the free excuse to "compromise on a deadline lynch OOPS IT WAS TOWN WHY DID YOU MAKE ME COMPROMISE""Cry havoc, and let slip the wombat of war!"

I'm disappointed you keep teasing me with this enticing scumread and then end up floating away shortly after; if you really think i'm scum then you know you're not getting anywhere if you end up constantly running away."Playing with Nacho is like playing with a religious conservative." ~UncertainKitten

Well, given that what I just said is mostly an opinion-based assessment of your general activity level, that isn't an especially fair demand. I can't point to a particular post and say THIS RIGHT HERE when I'm talking about larger patterns, now can I?In post 3924, Nachomamma8 wrote:

explain it.
I can, however, turn that right back around on you, and demand that you prove me full of shit by citing examples of you making logical deductions, identifying pertinent facts/making observations, or attempting to gamesolve. The difference is that while it is almost impossible to prove the absence of something, it is SUPER EASY to prove it exists.

If creature flips town, these two wagons (the one on Gerry and the one on Sly) are interesting. Which is the scum and which is the town. Personally, I feel better about sly being scum, because that sly wagon has more of my townreads."I officially announce Fro99er the king of guilties because this is the second time he has guiltied a slot I was really unsure about.

How is Creature the compromise? The Creature wagon predates both the Sly wagon and the Gerry wagon, and has been the only consistent one. It's also the only one that has any real LIFE to it. The Sly wagon has been dead in the water at 5-6 for ages with nothing new or interesting, and the Gerry wagon is the "I dunno, maybe?" wagon. In post 3926, Nachomamma8 wrote:

Could be town was split over town!Sly and town!Gerry, and are compromising on scum.
If Creature was town I agree he'd probably be lynched pretty quickly."I officially announce Fro99er the king of guilties because this is the second time he has guiltied a slot I was really unsure about.

This right here is the important thing. If Creature were Town, scum would have an absolutely free shot at him right now. There wouldn't be a whisper of consequence. The fallout would be "Oh it was a deadline compromise, bad decisions were made."In post 3933, Fro99er wrote:If Creature was town I agree he'd probably be lynched pretty quickly.
Instead, he's scum and they're desperately clinging to vanity wagons and counterwagons hoping to wait out the clock."Cry havoc, and let slip the wombat of war!"

Really, Toogeloo? Because I was just looking at this, and the people who are objectively helping the least right now are bolded. I am seriously questioning the Mason claim."Cry havoc, and let slip the wombat of war!"

This is actually the completed version of that. I posted an incomplete version in haste because Toogeloo being present and useless infuriates me way more than the people who are AFK and useless."Cry havoc, and let slip the wombat of war!"

Criteria for the above: Bolded are the people who are being inflexible about their vote, who seem to be ignoring the deadline situation and just whistling their way to deadline. People given a pass were the people who have expressed hard reads excluding the other viable wagons, people who have been moving their vote around to adapt to the situation, even if their vote is stupid, and people who have been actively and repeatedly justifying their vote. SAD, for example, appears to be the true believer on the Sly wagon, while the others are mostly ghosts parking their vote. Same for Desp on Gerry. The entire Creature wagon, not counting scum!Nacho, has been consistent and ardent."Cry havoc, and let slip the wombat of war!"

why should I think he is scum? He's been largely useless, sure, but I have no interest in lynching a Watcher claim when I have issues with other claims, and if we are going to lynch based on overall usefulness, I can think of a lot of other players other than creature who should be lynched as well. So again, why is he a lynch candidate?-

Actually, if creature were town and sly was scum, then sly is almost confscum in my mind, because he wants to be off town.
and if creature is scum, then we hit scum, yay, but sly doesn't get a point toward the doublevote."I officially announce Fro99er the king of guilties because this is the second time he has guiltied a slot I was really unsure about.

Right this minute, Toogeloo, this is the only case that matters. In post 3925, Pine wrote:Honestly. If Creature were Town, with 2.5 hours to deadline, scum would be CREAMING THEIR PANTS for the free excuse to "compromise on a deadline lynch OOPS IT WAS TOWN WHY DID YOU MAKE ME COMPROMISE"
Read my ISO for more details.
PEdit: First of all, Watcher is a very common and useful scum role. Second, this is role madness. We cannot and will not pull back on someone because they claimed a limited and frankly fairly pedestrian role. Third, there are a metric shitload of investigative and pseudo-investigative roles claimed ALREADY, some of them have to be false. I think it's Creature, the one so far that has the most scum utility.
This is a gross oversimplification.Toogeloo wrote:Pine, your bolded above are people who won't lynch Creature, that's the simple of it. The same thing could be said for your unbolded not wanting to lynch Sly or gerry."Cry havoc, and let slip the wombat of war!"
