He's only acting like that because he wants to spite you guys
But you're doing the same thing lynching him because of that -- It's not town to counter something anti-town with something also anti-town just so you can be even
I haven't seen anyone solidly identify the scum motivation behind his initial claim. I mean, someone tried. Like, he "claims PR" when his wagon builds pressure. Then he doesn't hardclaim. And expects to live. Fast forward to now. He still doesn't hardclaim. And expects to live.
??
WHAT???
Where is the sense in this train of thought? Where is the self-preservation? Every instance he could have used to save face and maybe live by getting on your good side, he tells you to fuck yourselves. There's no one defending him. I'm defending him. I'm not going to be able to not get him killed.
If gerry is scum he did like 12 grams of coke in pregame and somehow never came down and for that I applaud him

He claimed vaguely confirmable town role when his wagon had pressure mounting. The scum motivation behind this should be obvious; if it doesn't let me know. The point where he should have hardclaimed was after his additional crumbs, which ended up falling in place in a way that doesn't make sense (do you think that his role makes so much as a tiny bit of sense?); the reason why he doesn't counterclaim here and instead goes "fuck you you're all terrible" is because he has nothing to claim. If he was really disappointed about getting lynched today, then he would have claimed long ago; if this situation was solved as simply as "he claims his role", then I'm sure it would have been solved by now.In post 3854, Zachstralkita wrote:I haven't seen anyone solidly identify the scum motivation behind his initial claim. I suppose it's assumed that I gain something from defending gerry, but I don't. I would just rather lynch scum. drealmerz was right when he said shorter days were better.
Then that sounds like a policy lynch and not a I want to kill scum lynch, which is the favored lynch day 1.Andrius wrote:

My answer is that clearly the following days aren't going to be like today in regard to gerry. I don't see him playing the way he has today.

As long as you're accepting that it's really dumb and stupid scum play on his part, yeah.
I think he would at least attempt to think.-

Nah, I still think the chances of him being scum hiding behind this and the bevvy of players being all HIS ATTITUDE MAKES HIM TOWN are decent. Scum lynch always preferred. In post 3863, Zachstralkita wrote:Then that sounds like a policy lynch and not a I want to kill scum lynch, which is the favored lynch day 1.My answer is that clearly the following days aren't going to be like today in regard to gerry. And I don't see anything that will change how he plays. Will he wake up tomorrow with a better attitude? Is someone going to target him with a GET A BETTER ATTITUDE action? No."This is the true face of a man who plays paladin."-

and at this point yeah i'm fighting a losing battle and yeah i'm probably voting creature by the end of it but I'd love if by the end of the day one person can give me a reason for him being town that makes sense"Playing with Nacho is like playing with a religious conservative." ~UncertainKitten
