Opinion of the claim is irrelevant. Killing a claimed cop before they have a chance to get results is stupid for two reasons:

1) If they're town, scum will kill them. They can't afford to WIFOM town on this.
2) If they're Scum, they'll be countered by town when there are results to share.

Anyone that thinks James is scum should be looking for his buddies.
