I find it interesting that there was no News Report for last night. It seems unlikely that the Psychic was the one producing them, which suggests somebody roleblocked our Reporter.

In case it wasn't clear, I wasn't "defending" him, but suggesting we let him live. I have my reasons (for benefit of the town). If you don't believe me, then all I can say is lynch away. But to clarify, I didn't (and still don't) care whether he was telling the truth or not.

Obviously, scum will see me as an easy lynch so I doubt I'll make it through today.

here. I agree it looks a little 'too' obvious, but then, as Mr_Gnome pointed out in post 202, being 'too obvious' could be a defence of the 'I'd never be that stupid' sense.

To me it does not look like Fishbulb was in league with IS. There's no way an experienced player would defend him at that point if he was in league with him. The 'I'd never be that stupid' is one that usually does not work as the following day you were quite often already investigated by a cop, because of it. That having said:Wasn't BB some kind of cop? Is your vote based on an investigation result BB?

I have to read the first 2 days again as it's about 4 weeks ago since I was last in this thread. Just read day 3, but that did not produce a lot of interesting things. The first 2 days should have some clue though, as we've now finally lynched scum that looks like he was part of a group.

Although I don't think his defense as "obvious" as the rest of you, it might be an attempt at a subtle way to save a mafia buddy, or else try to draw the suspicion away from IS to someone else for a short period of time which would then give IS time to think of some defense for his roleclam.

No I didn't investigate fishbulb, but it was blatently obvious that he was scum that I didn't see a need to waste an investigation on him.

Yes, he is experienced and you could say that someone so experienced wouldn't openly defend a scum like that, but the thing is he did, just because he's experienced doesn't change the fact that he tried to help a scum survive inspite of an obvious false claim.

In fact, let's get this over with. If you don't like me, vote me now. If you do like me, uhh, vote someone else. There really is no discussion here; the facts are all out there, and I do not deny my condemning action. There really is nothing left to discuss.
