Andrius, convince me Persivul is Town. I don't see it. The only benefit of the doubt I was giving him was incredulity that scum would be so doggedly aggressive

PEdit: Mod provided fake claims are a thing. Granting actual powers to accompany them isn't. Besides, I'm pretty resigned to getting lynched, barring a reversal of fortune. So with my Townflip about to happen, my intentions are about to be proven pure. This abject resistance to engaging with that is incredibly frustrating.

There's only a couple of hours to go til my self-imposed deadline to use this power. I need a reasonable amount of time to actually talk with Creature or Jason.

Oh by the way.
Hey drealmerz.
Can you messenger and track in the same night?

Follow-up question is then: why would you message me over track someone last night?
Because one is far more useful than the other imo.

And no, I don't actually care if you disagree. I just want to know if you can or not.

No, but it's fine as part of a fakeclaim. There's absolutely no way you can prove you have it.
They're the informed minority and gain nothing from talking to dead Town. Cure Wounds doesn't make sense for scum either.
It does if there's a vig, and again, you can't prove you have it.

kuror claimed to have a not-scum (although not definitely town, but after the traitor flip and single kill a SK seems unlikely) on kuroi.
Still haven't seen where you mentioned the guarantee.
Not surprising, as you're obviously not reading the game.

I mean, yeah, town can know cop results or track results, but that is much less useful to scum is it not? "Oh, X got a cop result that proves my scumbuddy is scum, but died before he could reveal it/crumb it. Neat. Well that's buried with him so MOVING SWIFTLY ALONG!

There's plenty of ways I can prove it, but not right now. Talking with dead to get their results, saving someone, rolecop.

Is it just me or Persivul is trying to discredit the entire NOTION of claiming. Most claims aren't immediately proveable.

I feel like maybe I did save Shaziro, and scum is butt hurt about it.

Ok look.
Saying "guaranteed town" without extra words and "guaranteed town pls trust me role stuff" or "guaranteed town I'm a cop I investigated him N1 he's town" are three different things.

Its just like going "Persivul is 100% town".
Instead of: "so I reread the game last night since Jason flipped town and he was a scumread of mine but is town so I looked at persivul overnight in reevaluation and hey I think he's town now after rereading some".

pedit: Oh sweet.

Honestly, I'd probably wait to see who dies tonight (N2) because they're far more likely to be useful than Creature/Jason at this point.

I fail this game, I'm really sorry team

I hate bringing personal life shit into games but you need an explanation - my life has been a complete wreck, and when it was Night1 my head was not in the game at all, AT ALL. I had forgotten I could track. I barely got the animal message off in time for the deadline and had flaked on my ability to track entirely (it doesn't stick out in the PM, it's just in a sentence about my animal companion "blah blah you and you can track each night blah blah blah")

I really hate when abilities aren't more explicit, I'm a very visual person and I'd never forgotten if it was formatted like :

"you have an animal companion who grants these abilities:

1x Track - each night select a player blahb lah blah"

it's not like that at all

Seriously.

I fail.

I've really let this team and game down

I'm comfortable with andrius, shaz, culted, or pine lynch today, pine is my last choice

I'd love to. I was holding onto it for someone more useful. However, if I get lynched the ability doesn't get used. I'd rather use it on someone of limited utility than no one.

Requesting the PT at 1PM EST (40 minutes). Presently targeting Creature. Let me know if you'd prefer anyone else.

Drealz, those are all Town or Townish. Evaluate a Shaddow or Persivul lynch for me?

it's crazy how many ppl I'm okay having DIE in this game

I go back and forth on persivul, very possibly scum but a little game-solving that doesn't seem manipulative-agenda pushing that I'd been seeing a lot of and I like that

I'd be ok letting him continue to live and much prefer the other 3 to die

you are like between those 3 and pers for comfort

Given the vague claims from a number of people, I think it'd be best to hold it.
I'm against lynching you.

It's almost like dreal is scum for the myriad of reasons I've pointed out.

P-edit: Yeah, I'd honestly rather you save it for somebody more useful like an investigative and we just not lynch you, given how town you are. -Shrug-

I'm not sure not lynching me is an option, because I seem to be the only one interested in alternatives.

Shaziro, drealz is Town. His demonstrated power confirms him as Druid or ranger, and neither of them makes much sense as Strahd-aligned. So drealzscum=Andyscum

So if we're going to do something else, we need to actually do it as a team, and hurry.

I propose Shaddow or Persivul

PEdit: It can. There's no utility to scum for a whole bunch of powers

Messenger can be Strahd-aligned to try and find the traitor?
The fact it comes from a PIGEON can be immaterial if there is a Strahd-aligned Adventurer.

I'm not saying THIS IS THE CASE but THIS IS A COUNTERPOINT

If it HAD to be between Persivul and shaddow I'd go shaddow.
