...why do you think MariaScum would be playing this way? It's been quite clear for a while it's not being read as town. I don't see why her "meltdown" as you call it looks unlikely, and I don't see a scum motivation to fake it.

First, I wouldn't really call it a meltdown. I've had meltdowns. That isn't one. It's more of a lash-out. and it felt forced and fake (some genuine anger but then exaggerated) -

as for the question "why play this way as scum?" ask the first question and that is the only way I start to make sense of it ("Why play this way as town?")

Agree and this is why I cast my vote on jackel and didn't push my higher SR(s) - it's just distracting/disservicing at this point.

If I weren't okay with the jackel wagon then I'd be all about building a counter, and anyone who isn't, should. If there becomes a tie between jackel and maria, I'll switch over nodoubt, but I don't want to hurt a good wagon at this point in the Day.
