D'you do this often? How much weight do you generally put into the opinions of the deceased?-

I don't know if I've ever listed dead peoples suspect lists before ... maybe, I've definitely seen it done by other people before ...
How much weight? Well generally we know that that's what they were genuinely thinking. So when they mostly co-inside with my internal thoughts a fair amount. It just gets added into the mix really.Moo?-

What's the point in listing that Crub? I mean, we all know now that their suspicions were genuine, but that doesn't make them true automatically.
Glork, I'd appreciate a reason behind your vote.Planning: Katamari Damacy Mafia - Less than 50% done!

lulz @ Andy.
I'd be tentatively okay with a Shanba lynch, too.-

I read, and I know you post it as a reference, but the fact that those suspicions come from 2 confirmed townies don't make those statements true. Also, I usually don't use them too much, as it could lead us to many WIFOMesque scenarios.
@wank: A reason for what? Yesterday's vote for JD?Planning: Katamari Damacy Mafia - Less than 50% done!

I don't think it's very useful to look at the lynched person's suspicions... chances are we took that into consideration before we lynched them. But looking at who was NKed can be interesting (albeit full of WIFOM).
My personal feeling is that statements like this:
and this:Sikario8 wrote:I had no idea you'd actually say anything about it. You don't mind, do you? I mean, it's practically harmless and, if it does come up to something, I can easily withdraw my vote. I just...want to appear...well...active.
are oddly self-conscious, and in the latter case, seemingly incurious and uncaring about the outcome of a possible lynch. Despite the obvious argument that he always plays this way, the comment about wanting to appear a certain way is definitely a scumtell.Sikario8 wrote:Are you honestly this upset about being lynched?
Since JDodge was town, why wouldn't he be upset at being lynched? Don't you care about his mislynch? And why do you want to "appear" active, when you're not actually being active and helpful?
I'd like an explanation of these statements. Thus, I'm placing a vote to pressure that explanation.
vote: Sikario8"Oh, you can't help that," said the Cat: "we're all mad here. I'm mad. You're mad."
"How do you know I'm mad?" said Alice.
"You must be," said the Cat, "or you wouldn't have come here."-

I don't find it especially helpful to look at nightkills. It's not always WIFOM, but isn't often a useful line of enquiry either (with admittedly a few notable exceptions). Basically what people said already. I would like you to explain your other suspicions of myself and Shanba. I hope your suspicion of me is something better than being overdefensive by using the word targetted, because that outstayed it's welcome yesterday.Crub wrote:I don't know if I've ever listed dead peoples suspect lists before ... maybe, I've definitely seen it done by other people before ...

Hi Bookitty. I'm kind of meh on the case you have against sikario there. The first quote is self conscious, but maybe almost too much so to really be a tell. I'm not really seeing how the second one is self conscious at the moment, though I am admitedly rushing this post before I go home for the weekend and lose internet access. I'd still like sikario to explain what kind of test he was giving JDodge yesterday, because his logic seemed kind of backwards there.
IH, what did you think of the JDodge lynch yesterday? You were aware it was going down but I don't remember you giving any opinion on it, nor did you find it necessary to post and extend the deadline for another 24 hours.
So yeah, I'm unlikely to have any access at all this weekend. I'll vote next week when I've looked more thoroughly, but I still don't like Shanba.Primpod 11:13 pm

I didn't like JD's reaction to his lynch ("I'm voting but it's not OMGUS in case. you were wondering") Besides, it's true that his suspicions for Patrick and Glork came only after they voted him and his own defense was "I posted my reasons previously" (415) and "It's not OMGUS, mafia started this against me" (417) I don't see that as a decent reaction to a wagon with a deadline and my spidey sense tingles a little in the presence of people who are "resigned" to die without defending themselves.Andycyca on 410 wrote:About JD's wagon... I never understood why it started and answers like 400 aren't that helpful, but I don't like his first reaction to it. Two OMGUSy votes in 385, 331 (331 says "It's NOT OMGUS before you ask, thx") Otherwise I still see no reason to wagon JD. I understand voting for forcing him to be active, but he appears in here and automagically a wagon begins on him. In short: I don't see the reason behind the wagon (or I missed it) but I definetly don't like the way he reacts to it.Planning: Katamari Damacy Mafia - Less than 50% done!

I've taken a look at the whole deadline period, which started Tues Nov 27th and lasted till Sat Dec 1st, on which day there were only 5 distinct posters (Andycyca, JDodge, Patrick, Glork, Ripley). I agree, IH is definitely one person who needs to explain what he was up to. Or not up to. Long rambling post just before the JDodge wagon. Posts again on Weds 28th, with the JDodge wagon now on 4 votes. Doesn't mention JDodge then, or indeed ever. Does not post Thurs or Sat; 1 post on Friday with a FOS on Sikario. Posts in other threads both Thurs and Sat (on Sat he's only around at about 1.30 am, but even so - he was online and ignored this deadlined game.)Patrick wrote:IH, what did you think of the JDodge lynch yesterday? The other person I'd like to hear from is Crub, posting merrily now JDodge is dead and gone but curiously absent during deadline. Posts twice on Mon/Tues with queries about the deadline, so he was certainly aware of it. Posts again on Tuesday:
He makes a couple more brief posts on Weds and Thurs, but fails to post at all on Fri and Sat, while posting in other threads. So - hmm, looks likeCrub wrote:I'd be a whole lot happier about a JDodge lynch if I didn't feel as though the bandwagon materialised out of thin air, very quickly with less than stellar wagoners.
his unease at the JDodge lynch was controllable, then.
Unfortunately the protracted and multiple replacement process for appleof88 meant that character more or less missed the whole deadline period. We got a vote on IH from Jonny Appleseed, and then that was that.-

I'm sorry weekend posting is pretty limited for me. Especially last weekend when I was sick from thursday through to tuesday. And this weekend gone the holiday festivities have started which meant again no posting
It was unfortunate that my illness coincided with the deadline in this game. However I honestly thought that the JDodge bandwagon was shakey at best.
I think you guys missed my point about listing what the dead dudes thought. I was just saying that those guys were town therefore I'm going to listen to what they thought about the alignments of different people, over say what Glork has to say, because while I agree with him today his alignment is not known to me.Moo?-

Actually I'm more worried about IH than Crub, as he has posted less in this game. I remember him saying he was ill...
