Well Im sure the what happened during the night wasn't spam, my vote on UA wasn't, I mean hell, lets start this discussion... What do you think of what happened last night? What are your feeling on the no-lynch that occured yesterday? Who is your main suspect now? Who do you think is town? Do you think the amount of spam is connected with scum? Do you want people to do a PBPA? Do you think its scummy voting for the mod? Is it bad to do a dice roll for day 2? What are your thoughts on that? I mean Im asking a barrage of questions like this because these are ones I can think immediately off the top of my head that could be used to strike up a mafia related conversation... that YOU couldve started... if you dont like the lack of content in these posts, DO SOMETHING ABOUT IT. Instead of whining... so Im asking you, and anyone else who wants to answer... choose 1/2/them all/somewhere in between and answer... lets get a debate going amongst all this mod voting and the like...
...and I missed my chance to say
THIS IS SPARTA!!!Mostly retired. Unless you ask or it's something interesting.-

Hello, everyone.
In the process of reading the thread. I'll hopefully have something useful to say by the weekend."Oh, you can't help that," said the Cat: "we're all mad here. I'm mad. You're mad."
"How do you know I'm mad?" said Alice.
"You must be," said the Cat, "or you wouldn't have come here."-

1) What do I think? I don't get the question
2) I'm pretty disappointed since I'm pretty sure tarh is scum
3) Tarh
4) Not really sure. DGB and CKD looked town yesterday
5) No, it is connected to laziness.
6) No, I hate PBPAs
7) No, I think it's spam
8) Yes, and it was noted
See, I answered them all. Unlike the lazy (which I mentioned before) who either said they agreed and didn't answer or just continued spaming(1:07:08 AM) Xdaamno: alcohol

I survived the night, so the vig is not MoS. In fact, MoS probably doesn't have a killing role. If he could have, he would have.Oman wrote:Based on last nights actions I believe I know who the Pro-town vigilantee is.
I haven't kept track of this game as closely as I should, I will make a effort to change that in the next few days.Paraphrasing a role PM takes seconds, fabricating a good fakeclaim takes an eternity.

In mafia there is very rarely proof. Just speculation and pattern following.
Now, if we follow mafia patterns, we can see that mafia would rather have the conversation stray from what it should be, thus it could be viewed as scummy.(1:07:08 AM) Xdaamno: alcohol

In the process of reading this game, I noticed a couple of things that I thought merited some attention. (And yes, there's a pretty high spam/content ratio, but I don't really view that as a major problem.)
First, Tarhalindur. Pushes for random bandwagoning early, then starts votehopping. Nothing so scummy in that, except he also starts identifying scumtells for the rest of us:
Tarhalindur wrote:Your extreme aggression in response to pressure is not only noteworthy, but voteworthy.Tarhalindur wrote:This kind of post = scumtell. (Scum tend to care that they are lurking more than town does.)Tarhalindur wrote:Being uncomfortable with being voted = MASSIVE SCUMTELL
In my view, trying to define scumtells for everyone is pretty scummy in itself, but this REALLY bothers me:Tarhalindur wrote:That's actually a pretty big scumtell, coming from CKD.
Why is someone self-admittedly acting scummy, and not being voted by the town? This at least deserves an explanation.Tarhalindur wrote:Also, I'm a bit curious why I haven't come under fire until now, especially since I've been acting in a way I consider scummy and CKD is in the game. Call it meta if you will, but failure to vote me when I'm being scummy isn't what I'm used to from CKD.
Additionally, Sir Tornado has posted nine times since the start of the game. I don't like this quote:
If you don't like the level of play, improve it. If you can't, then you have no room to complain. When someone picks up their prods, indeed, POSTS to say they picked up their prods, my first instinct is not to think they are dissatisfied with the level of play. My first thought is that they're scum trying to fly under the radar. And that's not going to work with me in this game, so I'm going to:Sir Tornado wrote:Wow... I can't believe how much the overall play sucks in this game. So far, we have a random bandwagon of 7 votes on a player, another player trying to clear the bandwagoners by invoking the too scummy to be scum WIFOM argument, and "Team Asshat" treating this game like a scumchat game. Playing like this makes me reluctant to want to participate actively, and although I will not ask for replacement, I refuse to post any more here until all you guys start playing seriously.
unvote; vote Sir Tornado
FOS: Tarhalindur
I expect to have some more analysis as the weekend progresses, but those were the two I found most scummy on a first read."Oh, you can't help that," said the Cat: "we're all mad here. I'm mad. You're mad."
"How do you know I'm mad?" said Alice.
"You must be," said the Cat, "or you wouldn't have come here."-

Yes, but SirTornado has pretty much flaked off the site and has been replaced in most (if not all) his games. So the sentiment he expressed was probably true.Paraphrasing a role PM takes seconds, fabricating a good fakeclaim takes an eternity.
