but this set-up is totally different because there's two of each card, so it's actually plausible that scum deliberately picked identical draft numbers... like i'm pretty low in the draft and i'm surprised to have gotten the cards i did.
every time a PYP set-up runs this discussion is brought up and I've never seen it actually be helpful (when i did it i ended up being needlessly paranoid of a townread of mine because i read into them wrong), and now that there's less of a mechanical disadvantage to intentionally botching the draft it's just more confusing. like what if the scumteam has people in it who are willing to fuck with that (like i could totally see dunnstral doing that)? Without like a single flip it's just guesswork that COULD be useful, but it's just easier to scumhunt...
like i'd like to know who you suspect based on this speculation though because if that person is actually scummy then by all means i'll shut up about this, but??
