There's just not that much support for a Sotty lynch any more, and that's why it has stalled where it is for so long. Towards the end of D1 you need to start lynching at the intersection of "good scum suspect" and "realistic lynch target". The longer you're stubborn, the more likely you'll be settling for just the latter. Right now, the town is deciding who to lynch while you're happy sitting on a nothing vote.

So I touched on this, but WRT cloud, that claim is distinctly mafiascum and the 1-shot particularly means if it was faked I feel it would've been "engineered" to a certain degree. In other words I doubt cloud himself fresh out of EM does it.

I think I'm going to wait for GM or her replacement. We still have five and a half days and I want to end this day with a scum lynch that I feel confident about. So far, I've had a scum lynch rate of 33% which is atrocious so I want to be more sure and be right this time. If I have to make a rushed decision, I'd obviously push for Rask or MariaR. I've more or less suspected GM had the townread on me and preferred others as if I ever did ever go down while pointing the finger at her it'd look extremely terrible, especially given I likely spam that nonstop in twilight, and more or less be a guaranteed return. Towards the end hoopla super rubbed me the wrong way with her push on me when I was top townread for her just earlier and I thought it was pretty wack how lackadaisical she was just lynching in her pool and even whatever on it being me or gm. I started to get super tunneled on her/gm that as the team and didn't think it mattered anymore at a certain point, but then towards the end I went even more wack and crackpot theorizing associatives I saw hoopla's open associatves to every player and being the only one on the wagon in a potential bus position more worth given the few weird things I had about GM (I don't parade this around obviously as I don't have an answer but even now gm-maria and gm-creature are both kind of weird as scumteams given the interactions tbh).

I think what happened is most of us submitted nightskip so mhsmith got ready to do it, and then havingfitz submitted the kill and mhsmith thought, okay everything's in order then. If he thought about it too much this wouldn't have happened in the first place, and that order of events I could see happening. Not to mention havingfitz appearing right at that time too adds up with him just having submitted the action.

Technically it does seem more sensible mod would overlook a vt not requesting nightskip than the scum, but the level of effort from creature is a lot more than his other scumgames. He usually loses motivation in situations like this.

Normally that kind of thing would make someone reconsider, but not cloud I think.

I don't know how as a replacement havingfitz adopted usual reads (no doubt on jaack, cloud, tr me) before he had time to read most of the game.

His skim/catchup post is essentially VCA, but I think on the most basic level any amount of VCA would probably point to me as per the sotty wagon, all-town scum lynches being pretty rare and the positioning would be standard. Havingfitz didn't even mention it, and in general his analysis seems to have had an agenda behind it (fitting the facts to the story rather than interpreting the facts). Regaring me, he said he would ISO me later in that original vote/vca post and never ended up doing it, including now, and I don't get it at all how he's forming these views without that. He assumed I was an idiot for pushing what I did whereas I'd personally find it scummy or at least I'd worry about it a bit.

I think he wants to end today without talking about me too much, so that tomorrow he can make a case that's fresh and hard-hitting, and say "well I haven't looked at him much until now, but now that I have...". But if he commits to an analysis or stance now, he has to change that later and be consistent so that's more complicated. It wouldn't be as realistic if you did an analysis on someone townreading them/looking into them before doing the same thing.

Yeah I think havingfitz and maria mutually bussed early there to try to distance.

Then maria switched to creature but it didn't quite go through.
I remember around the end of the day, maria said she knew she could vote havingfitz (l-1) and maybe entice jaack to hammer it as jaack said he scumread him more. But she didn't.
That doesn't make that much sense if havingfitz is town but if he's scum I can see why maria doesn't bother doing that (what's the point if one of them get lynched either way?).
