Transcend originally made that post when we all thought Cloud was flipping town. We thought we were going into lylo, with me having led a mislynch on the town doctor. I was thinking smith was scum that day, io and smith were thinking I was scum... And we've had a lot of silly moves this game.

I pushed smith to claim over pushing cloud, for instance. I tracked Cloud to the kill N2 but I was pushing smith, who visited CCC N1 instead. I wanted him to claim so I knew whether it was plausible with my role + 1 shot gs for him to have something where he visits ccc before I full claimed (I figured it'd be harder for him to wiggle his way out of it because he might make the wrong kind of claim). Io counterclaimed me thinking neighborizer, 1 shot gs, and another investigative can't all exist for some reason.
Burgerking D2 self hammered.
Gerry derphammered D1 because no one was paying attention to the amount of votes.

The "don't quick vote" -> "quick votes" only works as a contradiction if you ignore the context of expecting a cloud town flip. If he's scum, then he knew that a scum flip was coming, so the first part was noise. If he's town, then he actually expected a town flip, and of course you'd want to hammer home the point of not letting the wolves get a quick hammer going.

I'll tentatively agree that the backout of the scum read was awkward, though I don't especially see why a theoretical scum-buddy of mine would do that given that I've been a more solid town read than your slot, and I'd already (in that world) had a fake claim pretty well prepped. Why get into the middle of it there for no real gain at all?

I guess? I mean we thought Cloud claimed VT as doc, after I claimed a tracker result on him... It was one of those situations where town was just like "I give up on this game" after bk's self hammer and all.

anyways-- I skimmed this briefly at work. I've mostly ignored the smith/Titus duel because I know that for a fact, both of them as either alignment would give it their all.

There is one thing that I want to comment about and that's Impoetic's post.

Impoetic plays on the same home website as me, and there IS a strategy that is done fairly often.

I did bring this strategy up in a scum game of mine, but I'm gonna bring it up again since I think it's genuinely a great idea.

But it's to lynch outside of the doctors, and if we are correct IT IS FUCKING AUTOWIN. There will be a pair of CC's with one mislynch to spare.

The benefit of lynching correctly outside = town wins the game.

I have a massively hard townread on Io as well, and that hasn't dissipated ever.

I have the same odds lynching in VWXYZ/Hermie as I do Smith/Titus and if i lynch right in the first pool, it's autowin.

I think V is town over Hermie, and I really just wanna be in autowin so let's do this today IMO.

You're placing way too much importance on the Tracker. 2/3 scum already found should be a fucking cakewalk for this playerlist in lylo to hunt down the associates and lynch the last scum. You're placing more importance on night actions than you need to at this point in the game.
