I'm tempted to Wonderlocke in Pokemon X. (Basically same rules, but immediately after you catch or recieve a pokemon, you must Wonder Trade it away and play with whatever you get in return.)

let's see if gen 6 normal is weaker
I expect he will be because gym leaders seem to max out at 3 pokemon

He is weaker, but because you've played Gen 3 you know somewhat what to expect.
My friends who never played RSE but played ORAS were taken by surprise due to his power.

Like, I remember the first time I beat Norman in Sapphire and it was because I had to restart the game with Torchic

Well, from what I remember, Tate and Liza were significantly easier than their RSE counterparts.

Tate and Liza were pretty easy in Gen 3 as well (or at least in RS).
The issue is I haven't beaten Winona yet. I went in with four because my other two main party Pokes are weak to flying. As are the majority of potential available replacements. rip

Emerald has so many places where your Nuzlocke can just die. It's probably the hardest game to Nuzlocke (GSC is pretty bad if you can't get past MILTANK, but other than that there aren't really any problems).
XY is probably the easiest to Nuzlocke because free MEGA LUCARIO GOD DAMMIT.

I hope exp share is a little weaker. Despite Winona kicking my ass, I was still overleveled even though I avoided fighting wild pokemon.

Is anyone planning to nuzlocke sun/moon on their first run through? I'm considering it, though it's kind of terrifying.

I'll do a Nuzlocke first play. It's the ultimate test of skill in Pokemon other than actually playing competitive.

You can restart the blind nuzlocke game? I suppose having multiple is better for easier trades though, it's the only reason I'd get multiple myself.
I'm probably not going to get around to getting any though
