dybeck, by "warrants more investigation" do you mean bandwagoning to get a claim? Because otherwise I don't understand... you just say he's scum with no explanation. Although a bandwagon may get this game moving...

Still, I don't like originality's comment... it's just weird. I don't know if it's scummy, but it's certainly out there.

Sorry for being away, blame the holidays, but I'm here now.

I'd like to start with this:
CES wrote:Unright did claim a powerrole, and he was the only one. I don't think it's unreasonable to think the doctor protected him last night, wether he's mafia or not. Also, I don't think the mafia would risk losing the nightkill, and killed someone they were sure wasn't going to be protected.
This is actually a really good point. If this is true, it would explain a lot. I am rather convinced.
unvote
Because if he is not scum then he is almost definitely a p-role, making my vote retarded.

Flameaxe, are you referring to me? I'm not very clear on what you want answered, please restate it so I can understand.

Okay, am I the only one bugged by how dybeck has been voting often with very short posts while offering pretty much no explanation? He's been doing it since the beginning, and no one seems to notice how odd it is. This demands a pressure vote

I do. Wagon Originality.

Meh, I guess I'd even vote Unright to get this game going, but I'd rather wagon Originality.

CES, care to elaborate?

Also, since Unright's bndwagon seems to be only for the purpose of a role claim, why don't we just ask him to claim now?

Well.. I just happen to believe Originality is by far the best lynch at this moment. I've stated my points against him already, but I could recap them if you want.

I am
incredibly
sorry for my lack of involvement in this game. Been going through some tough trials lately (and not just mock trials...). I will try to right any problems later tonight. If I miss anything,
please
point it out either by bolding or by PM. Thanks to all of you for your unlimited patience.

Well, I guess I was too confined to his last posts; after reading further backwards, I can see it better. But what made me smirk is his reply:

Although it could have been relevant out of context, I thought he would answer something nevertheless, but no, we had to wait for Mirth's intervention...

I'd like to take a poll: who here wants Unright to just claim now?

My personal opinion on this is undecided.

We need something meaty to discuss - a topic that will divide the town down the middle.

An Unright claim would be such a topic.

It's a little frustrating that you ask other people for opinions and explanations all the time, but don't give all that many of your own..

Anyway, I'm against an Unright claim, because I'd rather wagon Originality first. However, there's no majority that wants to lynch either of them, and there will probably never be a majority until activity picks up. I'm afraid something like a claim would be one of the few things that could make this game more active. I guess I'll wait for some others to check in.

I state my opinions freely when I have them. I am undecided because I do not like role claims until absolutely necessary, but Unright pretty much claimed non-townie. So the question is pin a role on him and make him stick with it, or give it one more night and see if he turns up dead.

Dybeck, could you please actually answer my question?

If his claim would help the town I believe he would already do it out of his own will, if not I don't see why to nudge him about it. If he is scum, claim or no claim won't matter to us, he'll be lying anyway. If hes town, a claim could potentially hurt us (more info for the scum). The exception to that would be if the claim was something like a cop or tracker who could give us valuable information, and if that is the case he should say it himself instead of needing prodding from us. So for us to make him claim is just wrong imo.

His claim *can't* help town at this very moment, actually. Its a matter of what is less harmful here or what mightbe less harmful in the long run. If he's town, he might be setting himself up for a kill. If he's scum, he may impair a townie's counterclaim later on. We dont know what roles we have, so even if he claims cop/tracker, that might still be bad. We don't know if we have protective roles. We don't know sanities. This is a lose/lose since he admitted to not being vanilla. And honestly we can't make him claim anything (though you should notice the start of a wagon for just that purpose, hence why I bring it up). We can come to a consensus about what we think is best as the town, but ultimately, he can just fakeclaim, which if he's mafia, he would do anyway.

Well, Originality is still getting by with being scum, so until that changes, I will be over there. *points over yonder*.
