I've never seen a miller with investigative power. I've seen lots of millers and none of them had more than a vote. I don't buy this at all. What's more likely is that scum miller claimed then lurked through the day only to come in and quick hammer obvtown, then got their kill blocked at night.

I'd hammer this as an alternative if the Ns can't be narrowed down to 1.
