I understand your position now. I agree that the process of elimination is a great tool. I'm not a good townhunter yet, though, so I'd personally rather not have anybody on whom scumreading is discouraged. As far as I'm concerned, everyone is potential scum.

i have a fiery objection towards townblocs because people usually blindly townread the person making it and it's also way too early for a townbloc and also lmfao scum can easily slip into a townbloc at this time so yadayada stupid i was outcast in highschool this is a trigger

Yeah sure scum can make it into a townbloc but it works anyways, and if a person who has objected to several lynches flips scum, you can form some good associations.
