I have town on Alchemist, Rb, XYZ.
Rest Null.

Also Alchemist, I think this continues the trend of us being same alignment :)

Don't think you'll be voting key rn, Menos.

I knew what you were saying--that's why I used the word "ironically". Just because we agree on one point, it doesn't excuse making a bad estimation at scum's power.

If you don't read what I have to say, then you are completely failing to "find and lynch scum". That's like saying you want to get rich without ever having to go to work.

Gut read as scum.

No because I never find walls productive and they nearly always hinder my ability to care about and enjoy a game as it just becomes a tedious argument over semantics and things that aren't alignment related. I'll sort your slot by analysing your votes and reads, which is better than reading 1,000 words of NAI debate.

some people communicate best through walls of text; I know that at times that's the best way for me to meaningfully express my thoughts about the game. refusing to engage with certain players because their posts take a bit more effort to digest isn't good for the town.

I've seen people break site norm, but you are refusing to do a basic part of the game. Promise you'll try to read walls.

And I'm just fine as a town player and generally manage to find scum even when not bothering to interact at length with long-winded players. It doesn't affect my ability to parse the game nor does it stop people from being able to sort my slot because I still contribute.

Unvote. Thanks.

I wanted to hear what rb actually had to say about this before I did this, and now I've heard what rb has to say about it, and... like... yikes

I'm gonna keep my vote on Mas y Menos because I feel like they're trying to fly under the radar so that we'll forget anything scummy they've done, but rb is definitely a solid lynch candidate at the moment

BTD6_maker has hardly said anything at all, and hasn't really said much of anything of substance. not a huge fan of that.

VOTE: Xyzzy

I like this better than Mas. Xyzzy doesn't do much other than throw shade and despite thinking I'm a strong lynch candidate, keeps their vote aligned with mine. Key, Alchemist: thoughts?

Because as far as I'm concerned, the game is about finding scum, not having bad arguments over semantics and theory and clogging up the thread with so much intricate detail that it becomes more like a part-time job than a game and demotivates people from wanting to play. Motivated players and enjoyable game = co-operative, active town.

Argumentative multiquote megawall semantic argument shitfest = bored, uninterested and flippant town.

Which one do you want?

And yes, it might look like I'm being flippant in only skimreading big walls but it's not. I play better this way because how good I play is directly linked to how much effort I'm willing to put into playing, which is directly linked to how much enjoyment I'm having.

As long as it doesn't stop me finding scum, preventing my slot from being sorted and I'm still active, it's not hindering the town.

I found where you said that. it took a lot of work to find. I had to scroll up a whole 7 posts

also, this is a game that rewards bussing a bit more than usual, so the fact that we're voting for the same person isn't really that strange at all.

Right so even though I mentioned I skim-read the wall in 108, we're going to freak out and pretend like I'm not reading the walls anyway? Cool.

I even announced that I actually skimmed the wall in 108, and you're sitting here telling me I have to read every post as if the way I'm playing is stopping the town from being successful. Stop trying to tell me the best way for me to play the game.
