I
m actually pretty happy to sheep him because he was the first one out of the gate who actively tried to scumhunt.
Maybe it's scum just faking away.
Ockham says - if you see scumhunting, call it town.
In post 49, Elyse wrote:Michel seemed to be talking a big game and the sharp turn where he criticized his own wagon seemed off to me. It's not that he did it - it's that he did it after acting all confident.
I see no hypocrisy between pressing initial scumhunting as a town concept and also finding people questioning initial scumhunting as a scum concept.
In fact those combined stances seem to make a lot of sense together.
What am I missing?

Also, if Transcend thinks Michael is scummy, than no matter what Transcend's alignment, the reality is probably the opposite

What do you think of my Trancend vote?
Of all tyrannies,a tyranny sincerely exercised for the good of its victims may be the most oppressive. It would be better to live under robber barons than under omnipotent moral busybodies. The robber baron's cruelty may sometimes sleep but those who torment us for our own good will torment us without end they do so with the approval of their own conscience.

Actually giving a reason why someone could be scum during AVS is a great way to get the game started, but it draws attention like crazy, particularly from weaker players who automatically seem to assume off-meta behaviour = scum. Not entirely sure what to think of Transcend here. I feel his reactions to me are more thoughtless then flat out scummy.

Blitzkrieg, if you feel selective replying is worth pointing out, then why are you conveniently ignoring the wagon on you and the discussion it sparked?
There is no 'a' in Michel.

9/10 times any reason given in RVS will be a joke and I'm struggling with your logic that RVS votes with joke reasoning will start discussion. I mean its not like you responded to my RVS on you so why would you expect others to respond to a jokey RVS?

I haven't ignored my own wagon. No player can comment on everything. If someone misses something they ought to observe, it is worth following up on.

My wagon was RVS, so I was letting things play out. What do people do after me? Does it match their personality? Who over justifies the vote? Right now, I am seeing pure RVS there and ignoring the wagon stood out more.
