Centuries of expansionist behavior has contributed to Orlais having sour relations with its neighbours. The empire has invaded Ferelden twice, battled with Nevarra, organized four Exalted Marches against Tevinter, squandered favor with the Free Marches and crushed the Dales. The Ferelden people they especially look down upon, thinking them brutish and uncivilized. They are sneered down upon as 'Ferelden turnips'.

Of all tyrannies,a tyranny sincerely exercised for the good of its victims may be the most oppressive. It would be better to live under robber barons than under omnipotent moral busybodies. The robber baron's cruelty may sometimes sleep but those who torment us for our own good will torment us without end they do so with the approval of their own conscience.

Your receivers are the strongest part of this team and you look good at tight end as well. While no team can be expected to be above average at all three core positions (QB/RB/WR), you are in the precarious position of being a bit weak at two of them.

Although you should not be counted out yet, you may need to be active on both the waiver wire and in trades to turn this team into a legitimate contender. The best way to achieve that might be to sacrifice some of your wide receiver strength to gain multiple players than can help your roster now. It's generally easier finding quarterbacks and wide receivers on the waiver wire than quality running backs.

Keep an eye out for quarterbacks like Blake Bortles from last year, Ben Roethlisberger from 2014, and Nick Foles from 2013. All were available cheap in August, and all contributed to fantasy championship teams. Likewise, running backs like David Johnson and Devonta Freeman could be had dirt cheap at the draft or shortly after. You are likely going to need to land some of this year's top waiver plays, so pay close attention to increased workloads, targets, injuries, etc.

Players we particularly like on this team include Golden Tate, Alshon Jeffery, Michael Thomas, and Justin Tucker. We have all these guys ranked ahead of where they are typically being drafted.

Bottom line:
With great inseason management, we think you have about a 55 percent chance of making the playoffs.
With good inseason management, we think you have about a 40 percent chance of making the playoffs.
With average inseason management, we think you have a 19 percent chance of making the playoffs.
In any event, we wish you the best of luck. Here's hoping all your weeks are like week 14 of 2015:

Golden Tate vs. LA: 60 receiving yards, 2 TD
A.J. Green vs. PIT: 132 receiving yards, 1 TD
Jordan Reed vs. CHI: 120 receiving yards, 1 TD
Kirk Cousins vs. CHI: 300 passing yards, 2 TD
Alshon Jeffery vs. WAS: 107 receiving yards, 1 TD
Allen Hurns vs. IND: 105 receiving yards, 1 TD
QB Summary:

We have Kirk Cousins rated #14 among quarterbacks, so we're not even sold on him as a fantasy starter in your league. And we're not sure that Robert Griffin III (our #25-rated QB) is likely to provide much help.

Incidentally, these two have a pretty nice combined schedule and a decent playoff schedule too. If you simply played the one with the better matchup each week, this is the schedule you'd face:
PHI | BAL | NYG | CLE | BAL | PHI | DET | NYJ | DAL | BAL | PIT | NYG | ARI | PHI | BUF | CHI

A quick note about the Cousins/Jordan Reed hookup you've got here: while we think the effect of the quarterback/receiver hookup has largely been exaggerated in fantasy football circles, it does have a tendency to make your team somewhat more inconsistent than comparable scoring duos from different NFL teams. But if you like the players at both ends of the connection, we do not see any need to make a change because of it.

RB Summary:

We see both your starters at running back as below average. Our projections have Melvin Gordon ranked at #19 and Jonathan Stewart ranked at #23.

We see Rashad Jennings as an average third running back.

Note that the above "thoughts" were generated by David Dodds's projections. Others have different takes:

Melvin Gordon is ranked #17 by some of our writers. Andy Hicks reasons, "Melvin Gordon had an inauspicious start to his NFL career with a zero touchdown start to his career and a yards per carry of only 3.5 yards per rush. Add in micro fracture surgery in January and it would be easy to write him off this season. The Chargers however had an awful line in front of him and running backs often make a big improvement from their first to 2nd season. Others with a similar yards per carry in their rookie season range from Walter Payton, Le'Veon Bell and Ricky Williams to Trent Richardson, Lawrence Phillips and Daniel Thomas. Gordon is a risk, but has looked good in training camp and preseason and for his current asking price you could be getting a starting fantasy running backup for the price of a backup. "

Jonathan Stewart is ranked #18 by some of our writers, which would make him an above average second running back. Matt Waldman reasons, "Stewart has RB1 talent, a flex-play health history, and RB2 upside thanks to Cam Newton bogarting red zone carries. He's a solid mid-round pick as startable depth or a part of a mid-round block of Upside Down Draft Strategy runners. "

Some members of our staff have Rashad Jennings ranked as high as 15th, which would make him a great third running back and even a legitimate RB2. Mark Wimer defends his high ranking as follows: "Jennings was the best back among the Giants' options last season, and rookie Paul Perkins isn't likely to push Jennings off the lead role. Jennings should be a servicable RB2 for fantasy owners this year. Recent comments from the coaching staff indicate that the Giants will rely on Jennings as their lead back more this season, a boost to his fantasy prospects. "

WR Summary:

Nice work here. We like all your starting receivers, as our projections indicate that they give you a combined 1.9 point-per-game advantage over an average opponent in this league. A.J. Green is our fifth ranked WR, Alshon Jeffery is #12, and we have Golden Tate 21st.

Your bench also looks good. Allen Hurns looks great as a fourth receiver. Michael Thomas should also be solidly above average at WR5.

Since you're strong at the position, you probably don't absolutely need to roster more than five players here. Of your remaining guys, we like Markus Wheaton the best, but you should keep the one you think has the best chance of putting up starter numbers. The rest might be considered expendable if you find you need roster space elsewhere.

TE Summary:

Jordan Reed should be above average as a starting tight end. We have him ranked fourth overall at the position. Given your league rules and the presence of Reed, your decision to roll with just one tight end is a reasonable one.

Kicker Summary:

With Justin Tucker, you should be above average at the position.

Defense Summary:

The Vikings are probably not a difference-maker at defense, but they should be OK.

When you don't have an elite defense, one option is a committee approach. That is, try to get two cheap defenses whose schedules fit well together. Here are a few teams who we think may be available and whose schedules fit best with the Vikings', along with the combined schedule that each would create:

Vikings + Steelers = TEN | GB | PHI | NYG | HOU | MIA | PHI | CHI | BAL | DAL | CLE | IND | DAL | JAX | IND | BAL
Vikings + Packers = TEN | GB | DET | NYG | HOU | DAL | PHI | CHI | IND | TEN | WAS | PHI | DAL | JAX | IND | GB
Vikings + Bills = TEN | GB | CAR | NYG | LA | SF | PHI | CHI | SEA | WAS | ARI | JAX | DAL | JAX | CLE | MIA
