Welcome, Frostypants.

I'm still here and still want to pressure Panzerjager over ChronX. I have little else to add.

Thanks fer the welcome.
After a short reread(The arguments were getting to my head X_X)
I'd have to agree with you.
Sorry Panzer, but CA sorta backed you into a corner.
Vote: Panzerjager

Might I suggest you claim?
I don't like these attacks on ChronX.. xD
Or maybe I'm just an idiotic newbie who can't see the connections, but I really don't think he's all that scummy.

I have to agree that the ChronX bandwagon was quite interesting. It seem that I was the only one who actually voted for any reason, everyone else just voted to remove pressure from panzer and assert pressure somewhere else. To everyone that shamelessly bandwagoned ChronX

unvote ChronX

And Frosypants welcome, are you sure you're not just an alt for JDodge, the name sounds applicable.

Well, normally I would scream at you for calling me an alt, but I won't. xD
So this Jdodge is renowned for alts, eh?
But I don't exactly have any proof of me not being an alt....
But I'm not an alt?
o_O;
If you get on more often, you'll see I'm on practically all day.
I don't have a life.
And I'm too young to get a job.
And I think Jdodge has one of the above, a life or a job.
But I don't. :U

Ahhhh!
I posted one bit for this game in another game.
Damn me for typing two posts at once....
Anyway, this was supposed to be in my last post.

Come to think of it..
Unvote: Panzerjager

But my vote sorta stands.
I think the Mafia will try to lynch you..
So I withdraw my vote.

But it's still sorta there. :U

No JDodge just wasn't very warm and fuzzy, so Frostypants sounded like an applicable name for him. It was in jest. And I doubt he plays with alts anyway, he's in an incredible number of games right now, I doubt he'd need more.

In regards to your actual game play. You seem quite jumpy. And the mafia will try to lynch anybody. We have two groups in this game. It's almost a certainty that some sort of scum will be on any given lynch today.

I'm not claiming. And I stand by my statement that a lot of scum is on my wagon.
You've basically signed your death warrant. /:
A lot of people are going to start jumpin' on your wagon.
If a lot of scum are on your wagon, don't you think you'd be of better use if you claimed and then persecuted those you believe to be scum rather than dying?
I still don't wanna vote him, giving him time..

Hehe.... I would agree with you, I seem rather jumpy.
I guess it's because I pulled a very weird move in a Mafia game on my forum. xD
As doctor I went and claimed Mafia, told everyone of my supposed scumbuddies, and then in Skype(because the maker of the thread didn't put down a rule that we couldn't talk about the thread.. off-thread.
So the person I was talking to revealed themselves to be mafia...
And now I've claimed doctor and claim they are mafia..
It's all odd...
Or maybe it's just my exams being tomorrow. xD
Or maybe it's just.. -pulls the newbie card-
I think it'll go off with experience.

Yes, they will try to lynch anybody, but they usually home in on an easy lynch, no?

And..
I have to cut this short, for I need to sleep... xD

I agree, I don't think that there is anything much to be gained by a claim at this point, but could you stop saying that there is allot of scum on yr. wagon (that's like the 3rd time) - as shaft.ed said it'd be bizarre if there wasn't & I got it the first time.

I'm finding FP really weird, need to radically readjust my way of seeing things for newbies - his last post....it's generally that those kinda things are implicit - would prefer if you didn't play this game in a similar way.

GH I'm a newb and didn't sound like that. I'm sorry but you really sound scummy frosty pants. All of this is simply gut feeling. Sometimes intuition is wrong, other times it is right. I wouldn't vote for you on this reason alone though.

Panzerjager is calling our bluff; we say "claim under threat of lynch" and he's telling us to go screw ourselves. As such I don't see how we can possibly let him off the hook without basically saying that scum can wait out any bandwagon by being uncooperative (note: this is the case whether or not Panzer is scum).

In other words, no dice: vote stays.

So Dasq, you think a policy lynch is a good move in this position, or just holding out the bandwagon until panzer breaks? Would you find the hammeree to be of a scummy inclination since you seem to support such a move?

Yeah, but it's folks & strokes innit? I didn't play like that either, I continually give the benefit of doubt to newbies b/c, well they're just learning - even if it's gets me in trouble. My view is that, if they're scummy, then they'll generally continue to be scummy later on & as such are allot easier to 'pick-up' - prefer to concentrate on players who are harder to find. I've got an short & undisclosed amount of time for FP to play & learn, if after that he's still seeming scummy I'll switch accordingly. Like I said, finding FP really wierd.

I think it has to be, because I'm so certain that claiming under pressure is a protocol that benefits town more than scum. Yes, there's a risk of outing a power-role or reducing the scope of the search, but so much information comes from a claim and reactions to it that we're doing ourselves a massive disservice by creating a game environment where "I won't play ball" becomes a strong play. It gives all four scum an easy out from bandwagon pressure, and risks us lynching a power-role who thinks he's better off not claiming.

We have only one weapon against that: policy lynches, or rather, the guarantee of them for non-cooperation. I
want
Panzerjager to break, but I
will
lynch him if he doesn't.

If by hammeree you mean the recipient of the lynch, I think the play is anti-town which should not be confused with scummy. In Panzerjager's case, I can definitely see him being town with his current play, but he could just as easily be scum bucking protocol to derail a lynch - it seems to be doing the job. Even if he is town, though, as I've said this behaviour cannot be let slide because it puts us in a really weak position.

Why, yes, I
am
Lawful Neutral :)

- good enough for me. There's no way scum would claim that in this setup. In fact with the doctor almost certainly dead tomorrow, I'm guessing all scum will claim townie.

Why are you so certain GH and ChronX are scum?

They gave terrible reasons for being on both bandwagons and hopped on there with gusto when momentum started to pick up. Especially Chronx, who tried to devalidate Jdog's defense of me by bringing out of game connections in order to have the town lynch me. GH hasn't really gave any reason where I could say, hmm okay iget on that wagon.

Dasq, I also have a feeling you could be scum too. The fact I got 5 votes on me, so fast for defending a townie. Tyler should be ashamed that he outted the doc by the way.

Welp
revote: ChronX
. I gave my reasons earlier, and Panzer presenting as Doc adds to that argument.

I still don't see why you claimed panzer. Dasq was the only one calling for it recently, and not getting a whole lot of support. Guessing it was just frustration. While it's likely you'll be NK'd, it could be interesting to see if either of the scum gamble to not target you so that their NK won't be wasted by overlapping with the other group.

@Frostypants, WTF?

I'm not ashamed of myself panzerjager. I'm ashamed of you. you were suspicious because you were pointing me out as a power role indirectly.

Secondly, you should have never role claimed, even if you were just a townie. If you were townie, no one would believe you. If you claimed a power role, everyone would believe you, but you run a 99% risk of a night kill. Word of advice. If you are certain you know someone is not scum, be cautious about the way you say it. Even if you are sure, think of how it will come across.

I'm not saying that this opinion is true, but it is worth consideration. Let's say Panzer is scum, than what would he gain if he were to claim doc? I think mafia gains tremendous ground for two reasons. First reason: chances are, if you claim that the first day it is unlikely that Doc would outwardly disagree. Secondly, if the doc did, he becomes a big target for night kills. I honestly don't think mafia would still try it, or that panzer is doing it, but I like to think out of the box.
