cause postie feels like town who's trying quite hard despite being an inane mess
whitelight feels like he's doing the newbscum thing of 'look how proper and authoritative i'm being, i'm doing precisely as a townie should and this will convince everyone that i'm town and intimidate everyone away from me'
i could make that more concise but the jist of what i'm saying is pretty clear i think

Lynch all liars?

Lynch all liars with no town motivation to lie and potential scum motivation, yes.
at this point, i'm pretty certain it's a breakdown in communication and the "too sexual" thing is the flavor rc gave to accompany the self-janitor thing shotty is claiming.
The distance between insanity and genius is measured only by success.

Still have my eye on Postie. I don't agree that WhiteLight's defending of shotty is scummy, and 150 trades the assumption that shotty is town for an equally bad one that WhiteLight is scum.
Gamma's read on Postie in 151 feels like the type of townread that scum can pick up most easily.

Yet despite this comment. We are still worth of your vote. Quick turn around on this lynch train...

And yet... that's not what I was saying. I'm trying to sort you and right now I think you are scum. (That last comment didn't help.) Postie's argument is literally "WhiteLight is scum because they are whiteknighting shotty. I know shotty is town because WhiteLight wouldn't defend their partner like that." which is like, logical fallacies out the wazoo. Doesn't mean I don't think you're scum.

My role PM says I get three warnings and, while I've messed up three times now, I haven't gotten any warnings so hopefully I'm still good.
And sorry, Anti. I've never seen scum!you so I don't really know how to sort you. I mean I know I don't know the scum meta of most of the people I'm townreading, but they're, like, towny in a way I think would be difficult to fake.

Read the rules; it's just mafia and town. -
Null-Scum Indicative
Shotty and Postie strike me as scum, Ranger is town, and White is neutralish -- I think White may be having some trouble keeping up, and Postie has been doing lots of scummy stuff like role fishing and filler posts so far.

Thank you for explaining it Smart. I'm still a tad lost on the defense part of Postie's problem with me recently. Since I was not posting from a position of defense rather and interesting piece of interaction when I was reading the topic. I feel as though, I am being pushed into a defense, I did not form myself.
Which last comment, the one where I questioned your vote. Or the one where I noticed how fast the train moved. The first one was a tip of frustration because I am feeling a tad lost here. The second was an observation.

Not really. My argument is that the way they're defending shotty feels unnatural, but too obvious to be scum defending scum, and therefore it feels like whiteknighting.
Also, I don't like the way WhiteLight slid off my wagon earlier on in the game. We were still partly in RVS so it just felt really unnatural again, like they didn't want to be seen on a potential mislynch.
