Not sure on Blackstar atm. I'd rather compromise on Dom and have Blackstar investigated. At least Blackstar is doing something.

Magna, that plan will never happen. After the initial push I realized DK would not do it so I mostly pushed to see reactions as potential Dom partners would oppose the plan. My only conlusion is that I don't like the way FA_Q opposed it. Still, if we end up doing it we can always change the target to either BBT or ircher. Still, yeah, I guess Dom is the best lynch right now. Not because he's the scummiest necessarily, but he's done nothing to make me think he's town. And I certainly don't want him in lylo. I know it's an easy target but I do believe others can make me think they're town. He can't, not if he keeps playing like this. Also, I don't believe for a moment that post was sarcasm and he just chose that as an easy defence to a contradiction

Is him being the compromise lynch (based on lack of play as opposed to an outright scum-read) simply a function of other scum reads being off limits due to claims?

Can you summarize your reads at this point - who is Town and Scum. Yes, you may not be certain of Scum. If I put a gun to your head and made you name 3 players with a quick reason (ok, 2 with FA already provided) who would you choose?

Well no, I've got a town read on Ranger and DK. It's mostly that at some point the game was only filled with lots of players who looked useless(DK, Jeanne, Dominator, Cobalt). So I wanted to get rid of the scummiest of them. We've gained Ranger, I've no idea about Ircher but BBT seems to be intentionally useless. So getting rid of those kind of players is the best right now. Obviously, I'd prefer Dom being vigged but I'm not putting any hope into that. And I think Dom is the easiest compromise we can do so there's that

Ok, first things first.

I still think DK is scum here. Something hinky is going on with the claims. A full cop and a watcher is very rarely included in games. I'm sure it's happened at somepoint, but I can't remember when. DK still is flailing around and making next to no sense. It's mostly DS. Firebringer hasn't brought his towniness to the game.

I fully endorse "leashing" DK's "cop" check. That's how you handle a suspicious cop claim. To that end, I think our last post by X is spot on.

Based on my newbie game where I ICed for BlackStar, I'm relatively confident in calling them town. BBT is likely town based on the prior games (more gut feel that actually something articulable at the moment). I haven't really looked in depth at FAQ in awhile but I like BBT and Blackstar recently.

For the cop -- Questions: 1) Is your sanity guaranteed 2) Did you really think you were gonna be lynched that early
For the watcher -- 1) Watcher is more often a Mafia role than a Town role. Your argument that watcher is immenseky helpful for town is useless if you arent a town watcher.
