Its true. I keep telling myself it's just a game but it does feel a little wrenching to backstab people so much. I'm at the stage where no one can really be considered a permanent ally and you should only work with someone if you know you can benefit from it.

No hard feelings Midget. I am only pressuring you because I knew you were complacent and too nice. If I don't expand somehow then I won't be able to fight off other countries who are constantly expanding.

@Breeze - I'm cool with letting you take Norway/Sweeden if I can grab Denmark. In order for me to do that, can you attack Sweeden? I will support you in holding Norway so you don't lose it. Either way, you will be gaining a territory and this way I can also snag Denmark before people get near it to help out.

Because he's just gonna keep climbing over you to get ahead. Breeze doesn't care if you have to disband your army and spend another round just to get back to where you started the year. If you aren't moving forward you are falling behind. There's no standing still at this point.

I have been asked to sub-in for modding duties (for sometime) as Fluminator is not feeling well and has Finals to prepare for (Exams suck!)




In other news:

- Bellaphant of Vienna conquers Austro-Hungary and Warsaw. Fortunately for CheeryDog, he sets himself up an embassy in Munich, just in time.

- The convoy from Bulgaria travels across half of the Mediterranean to make it to the Italian lands of Tuscany, in a beautiful collaboration of three countries.

- TheBreeze cuts the Swedish naval support by bombarding the coasts near Skagerrak with his heavy Russian Artillery, while DeathNote destroys the ports in Denmark before capturing them in an exhibition of British Naval superiority.

- Troops from Holland sneak into a deserted Kiel, while the snoozing German troops somehow fend of an attack from Prussia.

- It is not only the Germans who are snoozing, but the French were caught napping as well. As they failed to coordinate with the Spanish troops who were trying to dislodge themselves from Picardy for some reason.

- The Spanish Army however was successful in capturing an empty Portugal, whose fleets were half way around the map convoying for glory.

- Lokibenaldo of Portugal and PrivatelI of Austro-Italian descent have been wiped out of the game, while Shadoweh of Ankara and Radja of Sevastopol cash-in on their good spring season.

- Nyalite of Smyrna is still the forerunner, and is looking to take her sultanate from coast to coast across the world.
