Those 5 posts could and should have been one, are you trying to look more active then you really are? I'm not outing powerroles, I'm just confused as to why all this powerrole talk is going on so early in the game.

Also, you seem to be trying hard to find things that just ain't there. Really, no one made any logical mind blowing post yet, not even close.

I hate messing with tags and such so if someone says something I want to comment on, I start a post and reply to it. It's much easier than messing with tags. It's how I do things.

How do you know that the things I'm looking for "ain't there?" This is the way mafia is played. You have to look for clues and hints. This involves a little thought and close examination. If you're looking for someone to say "I'm teh scumz, guise, linch mi!" you're wasting your time here.

I never pinned the outing of power roles on him. I'm saying that he seems more dedicated to finding power roles than to finding scum. That is a big deal.

If you look at what's actually been revealed, it's that two people accidentally revealed that they weren't townies, and then partially or completely backtracked to cover their error.

Not townie != power role.

Not townie = power role OR scum.

I hugely doubt that both of these players are power roles. The fact that they're now both backtracking, to a lesser or greater extent, makes these two worthy of further investigation.

That's assuming it's a slip in the first place. It could have been done to make the scum think that everyone has a power role and can mess with them in some way.

First, I don't think what Peers has said is necessarily indicitive of a power role or a scum tell. I don't like post 155 though because retroactively justifying statements like that makes me edgy.

Second, PlaysWith, I have to disagree with your suspicion of JMar. It's too early to be actively lurking, especially not much having happened in this game as of yet. That and I don't consider lurking to be necessarily correlated with scumminess due to past experiences.

I agree that JMar doesn't seem to be "lurking in plain sight" just yet, but I did find it odd that he needed Originality to explain to him why Peers's slip-up was a slip-up.

There isn't a good reason for a townie to lurk, but some people tend to do this regardless of role. (See my game history for examples.) Because I've encountered it coming from both scum *and* townies, I don't consider a scum tell in and of itself. There has to be something more going on than just plain lurking for me to get suspicious.

Because in the first place, I said one thing, and people implied something compeltely different -- I've given up trying to predict what I need to say in the first place or what needs to be justified.
