Willing to trade qualified reviews and even Backup mod for someone if they'll review and agree to backup mod my upcoming SPACE DANDY MAFIA II LARGE THEME.
You will need absolutely no flavor knowledge.
For frame of reference, Cheetory6 had no flavor knowledge was my Backup mod in the recent SaGa Frontier Large theme and he never had to make a single post,
Borkjerfkin had no flavor knowledge was the backup mod in my Steven Universe Large Theme and he never had to make a single post, either.
Short of me dying, your backup mod duty will likely be the same.

Also, the setup is already done and as balanced as I want it.
It's literally just policy that Large Themes require a qualified reviewer and Backup Mod, which is totes understandable.
I'd like to throw this game down to queue as soon as possible, so please PM if you are interested.

Taken care of.

Looking for a few reviewers for a 23p Game of Thrones setup that I've been working on; It's very unique with a lot of cool new mechanics, and I've been working on it for over a year now off and on. Thanks!

I'm getting ahead of myself, but I have a large theme set-up I want to mod after I've modded my second mini (or my third micro).. Which may take a while (2 months?), so I'm not in a hurry.
But it can't hurt to have it done early, and I'm curious to hear what other people think of the set-up.
- 16 players.
- No flavour.
- Straightforward roles and only one mechanic based on pairing players.

I'm also offering to give opinions on other set-ups in general (keep in mind I'm not a qualified reviewer). I like to give opinions and point out issues related to mechanics and roles, actual balancing is better left to others.

I'm also offering to give an advance opinion on normal games, before it gets formally reviewed, especially for new mods.. Again, I may be not much use with actual balancing, but I think I've looked at the normal guidelines long enough to be able to help out with normalizing the game. Or I'd like to try at least.

I have a micro I need a reviewer or two for, Whispers in the Woods.
This Information Is Public
  1. If you are a reviewer, I will list your name here. (And note the review topic will be released in postgame.)
  2. There is at least one player who received the following PM:
    Vanilla Townie wrote:
    Playername
    , you are a
    Vanilla Townie
    .

You win when all threats to the
    town
    are eliminated.

Please confirm in thread you understand your role.
  3. There are
    two werewolves
    in this game and
    seven town
    .
  4. The werewolves possess free daychat.
  5. This game features a
    special mechanic
    , the titular
    Whispers in the Woods
    . It works as follows:
    1. At
      any time
, day or night, you may PM me the name of
      one or two players
you wish to talk to in private.
    2. As soon as I receive your request, I will create a quicktopic for you and that player(s) to talk in. This topic will be open for the rest of the game.
    3. You cannot add people to an existing topic. If you wish to talk to someone else, you need to create a new topic including them.
    4. There is no limit to the number of topics you can create.
    5. Please note this is still moderator-provided communication.
This means the same rules which apply to mason/neighborhood/mafia/etc. topics apply: no sharing the link, no direct quoting from it, etc., not even to another topic. (Exception: mafia can quote any private information from a topic they share with a townie into their official mafia topic.)
      • As this is moderator-provided communication, attempts to circumvent/shortcut are disallowed: you cannot create the topics yourself, nor can you communicate via PM/instant message/etc. These, just like in a normal game, are modkillable offenses. Have patience and wait for ME to make the topic for you.
The rest of the setup's information is private, but I don't anticipate it being a long review.

Hi, I am currently in the process of designing a 13p mini theme, Theorems Mafia, with some hopefully interesting twists on mechanics.

Considering this is my first venture into setup design I would be asking for a decent amount of feedback, especially on balance, and I would very much appreciate all the help I can get. Any input on flavor (mathematics, mainly the history of certain discoveries) would be nice but is definitely not a priority.

Contact by PM would be preferable.

Thank you so much in advance.
did another ms user do something lovely? recognize their achievements here!

Today's modern mafia consumer demands dozens, nay, hundreds of roles that are vanilla cops.

urgent need for 1 or 2 experienced reviewers for my buzzfeed upick mini; it just filled in the queue and the previous reviewers are unavailable now. you don't need too much experience, i just want to know that you've reviewed or designed a mini size game before, preferably familiar with upicks

Anyone willing to review my upcoming Baccano mafia setup? It will be a bit different from the norm, as the roles will match character personalities, so I am requesting help.

All games are encouraged to have been reviewed.
Out of those theme options, large themes are the only ones with an actual requirement of reviewers though.

since I had no offers for assistance for my last theme idea, I have another one. I am thinking of running a Gravity Falls Mafia game. I have the names and possible roles sorted, just looking for some feedback. The names and roles are:
Stanley Pines-Mason
Stanford Pines-mason
Dipper Pines-cop
Mabel Pines-roleblocker
the mayor, Preston Northwest, strong man (forgot his name), Wendy and Tyrone-VT
Bill Cipher-Godfather
8 Ball and Teeth-mafia goon
Fiddleford McGucket-cult leader(based on his "society of the blind eye" persona. If he dies, all cultists die too, dies if tries to convert mafia)

I put it in spoilers because one of the explanations does kinda spoil an episode.

Looking for help designing/reviewing a 21p Large Theme Smalltown game based on The Thing and it's prequel.

Still pretty early in the design, but I have the bases of the game laid out. It will incorporate other non-standard mechanics besides the Smalltown aspect, so experience with crazy new mechanics is nice.

Looking for a reviewer or two for a big Large Theme I've been slowly working on for two years. It's complex enough that finding a legitimate balance might be a tall order, but we can try. I'm hoping to be ready for the queue within the week.
