This day has been really weird. We've barely talked and everyone is too scared to lynch Beeboy without giving a good explanation for why. If he was town I'm sure that the scum would've quick hammered him already.

What makes you think that scum would quick hammer in this situation?

Well it feels like we're closing in on them, so why wouldn't they try to end the day as soon as possible and end discussion? Quick hammering a townie would get them 2 town deaths, the lunched and their night kill. So they'd be closer to achieving their goal and then the scum's partner could bus him the next day and we might not suspect him.

That'd be sloppy; high risk low reward considering it's pretty clear how the day ends either way.
Part of the reason I unvoted is because I don't want beeboy to self hammer - because that's probably the correct play if he's scum.

Based on beeboy's posts alone, I'd be willing to lynch him. However, my gut is telling me that scum want his lynch to go through, which makes me not want to lynch him.
