nominating Errantparabola for Most Cunning Manipulator for his play in Micro 574 — Space Invaders Mafia 4

. (submitting this to the form but gonna write it out here)

EP replaced in Day 1, and soon afterward his only scum partner was dayvigged. He then had to deal, alone, with a town that could both use an Innocent Dayvig and lynch in the same Day phase with no limit. He went on to establish himself as a near-universal townread among multiple players who also clearly established themselves as town and pro-town (the town was resorting to PoE much sooner than expected just because everyone was town), to the point where he was almost never considered for lynching until the very end. In a setup that could swing hard in the town's favor, he was on track to win all of the last Day and only lost in the

literal last minute

because the swing vote was townreading one of the opposing wagonee slot's previous player's posts more.

The state of this game would have been easily demoralizing for any scum but EP managed to be one of the most engaging players for over 50 pages and a month, and lost through no fault of his own (again, in a 4 person MYLO, a town player was about to be lynched until the Innocent Dayvig changed their mind, due to an early towntell, in the final moments).

I'm probably not explaining myself well enough but seriously. His play in this game and in this effectively townsided setup was impressive.

Space Invaders 4 was hands-down the most stressful and yet fun game I've played on any site ever XD

1. Opposed almost the entirety of all the mislynches/misfires in the game
2. Had beeboy and RC as hard town, at a time when almost the entire playerlist was scumreading one or the other
3. literally won the game singlehandedly at the last minute.

So...can someone explain to me how that list of nominations on the first page works? Because it's not showing all the nominations. I nominated Varsoon/Saga Frontier for both Game of the Year(which was on there for a bit, but has since disappeared), and for Paperback Writer, which never appeared I don't believe. :-/

That is unlikely to be accurate....it seems to be automatically updated. When I made my nomination for best mechanic for SF, I immediately checked and it appeared on the list. I assume my paperback writer nomination did as well, but I can't be certain because didn't check. i just know it isn't appearing there now.

Saga Frontier ended AFTER February 9th. There are also nominations that have been made just recently, in this thread, which appear in that list, like the two nom's for EP for Don Corleone. Those were just yesterday. I can buy that the *image* which is being linked to is updated, but why isn't that image showing ALL the nominations.

That would make sense and was what I was thinking myself...but I'd think the point is to show all the nominations...so something should probably change.
