So here's the deal: I am waiting on a few more payments to go through.

Untrod Tripod sent me payment tonight, and was the 16th person. However, T-Bone had tried to send it to me earlier and it failed and I did not see it go through. So I included both in the cap -- including the extra mod spot reserved for SleepyKrew. So right now, we're at 20 people total.

UT is unsure he'll be able to go since he may be playing at a band camp in Arkansas this Summer. I'm undecided on whether to raise the cap or not.

Here's the important thing:

People on the player list already are locked in.

I'm going to put down the reservation on the cabin as soon as the Canadian payments have come through and I have enough money.

I will consider accepting people above the limit, since we have interest. However, if I do this, those people will be expected to sleep on the floor -or- in a bed with an already confirmed player. Additionally, if I commit to more people, that will mean MORE money committed on my part. I want to make sure those people are serious about this, because if I buy more supplies, etc, for more people, then that means we'll need people to stick around.

It also means people that already committed cannot have their deposit back so easily. The idea of a "wait list" was because I expect at least one or two people to cancel on me.

I'll let y'all decide how to handle it. I want Ceph & hiplop to come. I want anyone who wants to attend to actually come to this thing. But we're capped on space, and with taking people's money for this, it makes it weird.

What I can do is create a giant pool. Anyone who pays into it can come and I'll dole out sleeping arrangements. However, if we raise the limit, here are the potential concerns:

#1) Sleeping space will be limited.
#2) The amount of time dedicated to this game will be increased, because that means more rounds.
#3) Transporation will become a bigger issue. Anyone who signs up over the cap will be expected to get their own way to the cabin itself, as I want to avoid renting a van if possible.

Like -- the current plan was to get through to merge by end of day Friday so that people would have the "don't talk to other tribes" thing removed fast. If we add more people, it adds more time to the pre-tribe phase. Are people ok with this?

Well personally, I have no issues whatsoever sharing sleeping space with people. I just snore a lot, and also snuggle up to anyone who happens to be sleeping near me in the middle of the night, and toss and turn a bunch. So if people don't give a shit about that, I have no issues whatsoever sharing sleeping arrangements.

In the event I do get to go, I'd likely opt to drive there, I'd be driving from Ohio to the location, (~7 hour drive). If there is anyone on the way who would be interested in car pooling with me ^_^.

This is actually a really good idea. There might be a few people who need this kind of separation for sleeping.

I'm also in support of this. Yeah I'm coming to this to play Survivor, but more of it is to actually hang out in person with all you awesome people I've wanted to chill with for a long time. So balancing that outside of like meal times is a good idea imo.
