Well i really appreciate being chosen. I guess as i'm new, i'm probably the guy you consider to be 'taking a risk on', but dont worry, i wont let you down.
However can someone please clarify the difference between being in each position. I understand the concept of mafia itself, but the theme for this game is a little perplexing...-

This makes so much sense. You're so obviously sober when you post here.Oman wrote:The positions we're in are the ones we play best in. We are weaker in other positions. I can only guess the scum weaken our team just being on the ice which is what allows the other team to score a goal.
It will be like:
town on ice + players in their proper position = strength
I am only guessing.
Now, can someone direct me to the Outrageous Lies thread?-

Sorry about my absence guys-i only just got back from a week's holiday.
Quickly reading, i don't agree with this post. Could well be a scum slip-up in my opinion.Lowell wrote:I have no idea. I guess it would be nice if one perosn from each position could claim. As in, take positions one by one and find one person to claim, while others stay silent.
Again, I don't really understand the game dynamics, but it seems probable that having the right people in the right positions helps us.

I could've sworn i responded to this last time i was on. Put simply, i'm not sure whether that comment corresponds to recieving the town role pm.Primate wrote:
I actually thought that was an OK post. What didn't you agree with from it and what do you think he slipped up regarding? The Venerable Zorg wrote:Sorry about my absence guys-i only just got back from a week's holiday.

I'm not convinced by Masterminds plan either. Primate's responses made alot of sense, except the bit about 'if i think someone could be scum, you must do as i say'. Whilst of course, as Captain, we know you are on our side, that doesn't necessarily mean you are always right. So, whilst we should take your opinion into account, i don't think just going along with whatever you say is a great way to play the game. But maybe that's just me.-

I assume i can now post again. Anyway, the thing i most wanted to point out was this clearly opportunistic post from Flameaxe. Had he simply read what was being discussed, he would have realised that Lowell was nothing to do with my comments about Shanba. Instead, he seems to have invoked an emotive reaction to my vote on Lowell, in particular, thus explaining why he lumped them both together.Flameaxe wrote:Inorite? I side with Shanba/Lowell on the interpretation.
Oh and Lowell, the reason my vote is still on you is because unless i'm going mad, your comments don't add up, as far as positionclaiming goes. I cant say more without claiming, but suffice to say i think your pushing of this position-claim issue is either scummy, or at the very least, foolish.
I dont think claiming at this stage is a good idea. Pressuring Flameaxe however, most certainly is.
Unvote, Vote: Flameaxe-

You put Lowell in goal? and me in Defence?
I realise i havent been here for a while. By the look of it, we lynched scum (but this is not absolutely certain) and he is now 'in the penalty box', which im not sure about the meaning of...
Anyway, i agree with Lowell about Flameaxe. This game cant be as easy as to have all the scum so blatantly trying to rack up penalties. Of course, its pretty obvious to me why Lowell is defending Flameaxe-distancing from a probable mislynch.
Vote: Lowell
Also, Primate, please kick this guy off the ice if atall possible. Or at least move him somewhere where we arent totally reliant on him.
Finally, i think we can sure that us letting in a goal was nothing to do with the lynch. I expect it could be something related to our formation, or general amount of penalties during the day. Collateral damage by any chance?-

lol i like this post, because it raises a valid point. I dont like the way Mastermind is trying to use the Oman lynch as proof of his innocence, when frankly he was a total liability, and was always going to be taking an early shower.Primate wrote:Does 'scum killing mode' look any different to 'oh my scumbuddy is being lynched busbusbusbus' mode in any way?
Post 385 is a definite mark against his name.
I'm still happy with my vote for the moment, butFoS: Mastermind-
