Hi vampyrusddg. Welcome to the game! And yeah, as you can see, I was thinking your predecessor was our final mafia but now that I see the exchange info between Sir Tornado and ryan, plus Numenorean's interesting little response, I'm now pretty sure it's him.

Tell me, Numenorean, same question I had for Amelia: if I'm a mafia role-blocker, why didn't Sir Tornado and I just kill a townie to win the game after SPAG was lynched?

Why oh why didn't I kill you last night? I guess I wasn't thinking straight.
Obviously ST didn't mean that I should really no-kill. He was just trying to reduce the suspicion against me if I was blocked. If I had killed Jester, I might have been able to convince AmeliaLi that klopyrev was scum, or perhaps an SK. I certainly would have had more of a chance. Even if I escape lynch today, Jester will definitely block me, and there's no way I'd escape the D7 lynch.

Of course we basically lost when ST sent in the kill two nights ago instead of me. We thought AmelaiLi was the RB, and she was never suspicious of ST. So it goes.

A cop, a doc, a 2-shot vig, and a roleblocker against three Mafia with no special powers?

A few notes...

1) The Klopyrev quoting thing was indeed a quote, however, it was so minimal that I did not feel it warranted a modkill, as that would, in my eyes, hurt the game more than leaving the reasonable doubt that he was lying, as I neither confirmed nor denied that it happened during the game.

2) Gatorguy made a post after he died spilling the beans on one of his investigation. Luckily, Mith got to it before anyone but the Mafia were able to see it. Sorry about that!

both players were eliminated from the game, as I said before.

It was still a problem, and created a distraction/metagame that may have helped the town win in the end, because they were able to eliminate AmeliaLi from suspicion, if I'm reading the thread correctly.

Ryan did the right thing by bowing out, but he shouldn't have mentioned the "why" until the game was over.

Good game, mafia. You really played that well the first three days. It was only luck and Sir Tornado's over-reaction to klopyrev that turned this one in the town's favor. Even without that, Sir Tornado and Numenorean in particular had a good game going there.

Oh, and whose tactic was it for the entire mafia to vote for ryan, first-second-third, on day two? Sir Tornado's? It strikes me as hugely risky, but it paid off.

Yeah cause three townies (including a TERRIBLE play by SPAG) just went like sheep along with it.

Actually, I think my advice to Num7 was terrible... as I told Ryan, it WAS to create a WIFOM for the town if Jester blocked Num7... but I suppose I should not have spoken to Num7 about it before doing that sort of thing. We came within inches of victory twice during the game and lost both of them.

I think mafia defeat is my fault in quite a big way... this is the second time I got lynched in the mid game as mafia after escaping suspicion on the opening days.

We killed CuriouskarmaDog because he was just about the only townie (apart from ryan who we managed to get mislynched) who we thought was getting somewhere near hunting scum, and I thought he would nail either Num7 or me at some point. Gatorguy was the obvious cop (he should act less cop-like while playing cop next time)

Well, my mafia record goes to 4/5 now... although I do have a win as town lately to make up for it.

Well my shift in AmeliaLi's role didn't last very long, but still, good game all.

You were trying to be far too shifty at the end there numenorean, that line suggesting Jester may be a scum RB was a very bad move, not just for the reason I pointed out but also because his claim was a counter claim to ST's, and why on earth would scum counter claim against another scum?
