In my opinion, no townie would claim doc for risk of a counter claim and outing the doc. The tone of your responses also seem anti-town. Albert, I can honestly say lying to the town in order to prevent your lynch is the stupidest move I have seen in a long time, if you are town. I would have done the same exact thing as Yama in that situation. When you are being pressured and lie directly to the town's face, what the hell is Yama supposed to think but you are scum? Your tomfool "I was obviously not doctor" doesn't pass the reasonable test on any conceivable level I can think of.

If you really are cop, I would suggest you learn about these wacky things they call "knowing how to play a game" before you resume your time on the site. Seriously, even if by some chance you are the cop (which one would think you would have claimed before instead of bullshitting the town, since a doctor is just as likely, if not more likely, to be killed by mafia at night, so its not like you were even doing the even semi-justifiable lie of protecting yourself at night) at this point I'd rather lose a cop whose judgment has clearly been revealed to be shit than risk keeping a mafia member around.

Everyone gathers around the stammering Albert B. Rampage. “Don’t do anything hasty!” he says, “I have great power!” He raises his skinny arms menacingly. When the crowd refuses to yield, he backs against the wall, cornered. As everyone closes in around him, he slides to the ground with his arms over his head. “Walls closing in! Gah!” he screams. As the crowd advances he screeches and wails in protest.

The council accuses him, “You killed Kison and Blight!”

“Nononono I didn’t,” he stammers pleadingly. Without warning he leaps on the closest council member and gets in a quick jab to the side of his face.
