Toadette is generally a happy and upbeat girl. She is portrayed as being a nice, sensitive person, and she enjoys being with others; she has similar personality traits to Toad. However, it is shown she can get childish very easily. She likes animals, and that she is saddened when Punio stops visiting the sewers. When she is unable to play the lottery because someone changed the clock in Paper Mario: The Thousand year door, she "cried her little eyes out", showing that at times she can be very emotional. She is interested in music and musical instruments, even to the point of going to play in a recital. Toadette stays up late practicing a wide array of instruments ranging from trumpets, to violins, to even a small silver hand bell. She is known most of all for her friendliness and she is able to neighbourize two players before the game to befriend them!

Community Building (2-Shot Pregame Neighbourize): You may choose two players in the pregame to invite to your neighbourhood, allowing you to talk during nights.

Luma was first met by a young Rosalina near a rusted spaceship; he explained to her that he was awaiting his mother, who was coming for him on a comet. Rosalina promised to wait with him, and the two eventually repaired the spaceship with the intent of using it to search for her themselves. As the pair travelled through the cosmos, they came across a comet made of ice and, though there was no sign of Luma's mother, decided to remain on it as they continued their search. One night, after dreaming of her own mother leaving her, Rosalina took Luma in her arms and adopted him as her own, promising to take care of him herself from then on. Using materials they found frozen beneath the comet's ice, Rosalina and Luma constructed a house for themselves. Following the arrival of more of his kind from a nearby planet, Luma began to fight with them over Rosalina, who proceeded to welcome them into her new home and give names to them all. Luma is being taken care of by Rosalina, whom you know is Mushroom Kingdom aligned. If targeted for a night kill or on request, you may transform into a planet, being able to post in all threads you are connected to but losing your vote and being untargetable by night actions.
