I hate metagaming. Period. Saying things like "this is how it happened last Venge" or "This is what this person normally does when..." is crap. If you can't create a case against a person by what they're doing in this game alone, then there is no case. If you think I claim GF because someone did it some other game, and he was town, you're sorely mistaken. Now hurry up and hammer me, so I can shoot you. f a scumplayer would consider to do this move, it is only because he really believes he could benefit from it.
Therefor he almost must be certain that it could as well be a move of a town player.
So he would think something like 'If I were town I would do the same move'.
Therefor that particular player would do the move in any case, beit as scum or as town.
Therefor the move doesn't say something of the alignment of that player.

You've essentially said that my claim was a null tell, yet it is the number 1 reason you are suspicious of me.

also find your entire anti-metagame campaign something like saying: I know how to play this game better than you and I would like to keep it that way: please don't do research: I can beat you if you only look here.

Also wrong. I suck at this game. Also, yes, reading the plethora of games here is a great way to learn things. The main focus of the anti-metagame campaign is you need to look at each game as an individual instance of tonwnie-ness/scumie-ness. Don't base your argument on me being town/scum on the fact that some other player did the same thing in some other game, and he happened to be town/scum. It doesn't work. You also can't say that someone is town/scum because that player did the same thing in some other game, and he was town/scum then (COUGHJDodgeCOUGHChineseNewYearMafiaCOUGH).

On the subject of scumtells, lets look at my claim, shall we?

Well, looking at the entirety of yalls posts, here're my thoughts.

SSF: Attacked the GF claimer, calling him scum, along with Hijallti-Scum, and then later continued the attack, only replacing scum with bad townie.

JDodge: Has suspected Flea all game, but never really gives a reason why

Well, if you've got to know, I did it for both the reasons SSF stated. I know through experience The GF Claim is really great at revealing the scum, and if it went out of control and I died, I would've at least known who to vig. Plus, I do love killing people.

Looking at the game based solely on reactions of the GF Claim, SSF and HJ are textbook scum. However, as I aluded to when I said "You're just mad cus I claimed GF before you did," I know JDodge, if scum, being the Master of Gambits himself, would not have fallen for such an easy trap. So I can really see it going both ways, where HJ and SSF are obv scum, and where HJ is dumb scum, JDodge is smart scum, and SSF is just the ignorant townie who got caught on the wrong side of the trap.

I thought I already answered this. Or at least had it in context. Context is dangerous though, so I'll put it in black and white. HJ and SSF are textbook scum because they were the strongest anti-GF-claim players here. Scum, in their continuing effort to look as townly as possible, will latch on to anything they can launch a decent attack on, and stick with it, while the rest of town tries to find other things, other scumtells in other players. Giving them such strong bait early in the game really gave them nothing else to focus on, until Vamp gave his wonderful Too Townie accusation.
