I went back and looked at where acfan was questioned about this post. Perhaps I should've done that sooner; for a while, I was just looking at acfan's posts (using the "show acfan's posts" option) without looking at each one in context. Okay. Now I see why you're suspicious of acfan and his replacement. He made this comment, then was questioned about it, then vanished. Hmm...

It means I now understand why theo was suspicious of acfan. Acfan vanished after being questioned about one of his posts; perhaps he was scum and didn't want to continue after being caught.

I'm agreeing that the timing of acfan's disappearance makes him slightly scummy. But only slightly. If I'm content with how Kakeng acts (and so far I am), I won't worry about acfan's disappearance anymore.

That's enough fence-sitting. I want to see you actually stick your neck out and commit to a position. Every time someone convinces you of something, you agree, but you always make the stipulation that you aren't going very far with it, so that you can point back later and show that you specifically said you didn't *really* think so-and-so was scum/protown, at least not very much. by any means. However good town play would dictate trying to catch the scum and if you believe i'm scum then you would want to convince other people that i'm scum too and you're not doing that. You're throwing something more along the lines of a fussy tantrum, completely unhelpful for the town.

Side note, i'm not getting town vibes here either. Even though my vote was to gain a reaction the reaction i've seen is nothing near town so i'm pretty happy with my vote.

I checked all PMs sent from you to me and I have no record of this. If that is your stance, I apologize for confusion and have no problem searching for a replacement; this thread turning into a flame fest well not be tolerated.

It is possible to express disagreement with a player's logic or with the player's competency without resorting to profanity or unrelated ad-hom.


From now on, I am implementing a three strike system -- three strikes = replaced.

Flameaxe now has one strike, anyone else who is blatantly disrespectful/vulgar in subsequent posts will get one.

I have delved into adhom and disrespect in the past and I'll let you know it has never helped me in the game, and looking back I regret it. Shape up or ship out .

Never was happy with all of his bandwagon hopping at the start of the game. Could just be newbishness, but it could also be an opportunistic scum, hiding behind the fact that he's a newb.
