Things are pretty fractured right now, I just can't see anywhere to put a vote that will actually do any good.

Unvote, Vote: Cogito Ergo Sum
I guess. I'd rather lynch him than no lynch, but I doubt he'll get the votes.

Do we want a lynch? Like just a semi-randomised lynch?

Or would a nolynch be better?

Looking at the count it would have to be CES or Erg0 simply to allow us to amass the votes, but I don't feel we have a strong case on either (maybe CES after the ABR fiasco).

I should point out that of the four votes on me:
  • Kison's
    should
have been retracted when he accepted my explanation in post 1060.
  • CES's was self-admitted random bandwagoning
  • Fritzler's was made without giving any kind of reasoning.
Only GoW's vote has any kind of substance to it (though I disagree with his reasoning), so I think the 4 vote total is misleading.

Next theory, please.

Revenge is good and all, but there are one hundred drawbacks to this lynch:

1. He's probably town.
2 through 100. We get no information from the wagon.

Seriously, Albert is the easiest lynch in the world right now, and the scum can just run him up without fear of reprisal. I don't like that idea.
erg0 wrote:To be clear, I absolutely think Albert is town, anything else I say on the subject is merely an attempt to persuade others who think he's scum not to vote for him.

As for having no apparent reason to think that Albert's a townie - my reason is in the post you quoted. I don't see what he did as a good scum gambit. It's not good play for a townie either, but it's a worse play for scum.
I haven't seen erg0 say anything that would indicate his opinion has changed about the Albert/CES case. And yet he votes him.

You missed one:
Erg0 wrote:I notice that, despite Albert's profession of love, he did not respond to Skruffs' request for a full flavour claim. Having re-read the events surrounding Albert's kill on Bobby, I'm feeling slightly less positive about him than I was before, though I'd still rather lynch someone linked to him (e.g. N9V) and work back from there.

Or you could jump back on erg0. I'm not about to vote CES when I think he is very likely Town. Everything I quoted in erg0's posts makes sense - the one he posted that I had missed is much less convincing.

I think i'd rather lynch CES who I think is town-ish, but know is vanillia (after using the kill) than Erg0 who I think is town-ish, but unknown role.

'End of Day 2' Vote Count

CES 9 (Mr Flay, Paradoxombie, Skruffs, Erg0, Fritzler, Oman, Shanba, Kison, SSF)
Erg0 3 (GodofWine, CES, Setael)
Oman 1 (MoS)
Shanba 1 (YagamiLight)
Paradoxombie 1 (Heatherlou)

Not Voting (2): Xdaamno, Zu Faul

17 alive, means 9 votes to lynch.

The town had decided that after the fiasco with Oman, it would be better to look for an alternative lynch. With the day drawing to a close, they made a hurried decision to lynch CES.
I say 'lynch', but really, it was more a case of containing him in a sealed jar. Yup, you guessed it-CES was
Hydrogen
!

Cogito Ergo Sum (Rep. ABR) Hydrogen- 1 Shot Day Vigilante, has been killed.

Another less than pleasing day for the town. They had stopped a killer, but unfortunately, ABR/CES's intentions had been good. As the innocents tucked up for the night, their only consolation was that so far, they had only managed to kill scum at night, and that hopefully they could repeat the feat tonight.

It is now Night 2. You have 48 hours to get all Night Choices in, otherwise they will be forgone.

Sleep tight,

The town awoke to 2 more bodies-both lying in the street. It was apparent that some people had been up and about last night, as the beds of both the slain, were empty.
The first body that the town came across was that of
Erg0
. He was strewn across a table, with severe bruising to his body, and a fractured skull. He wasn't dead, but unfortunately, medical attention was impossible and he was fading fast. He might have been a
Doctor
, but he didn't have the skill to save his own life.

Erg0 (Canada)- Doctor, has been killed.

The second body had also been battered to death, but this time it wasn't such a sorry site. Not only was the victim
Oman
, but he was already long dead. He had claimed to be the son of God, but the only God Oman worshipped was Allah. His documentation (which was conveniently close to the body) proved his part in the murders of late-and an instrumental part it was.

Oman (Saddam Hussein)- Mafia Leader, has been killed.

And so, the town were feeling pretty torn about the events of the night. On the one hand, they had apprehended a vile murderer, but on the other, they weren't going to sleep any safer at night with a Doctor dead.

Only 14 remain now, and thus, only 8 votes are needed for a majority.

Best of Luck,

BM

Right now I'm looking at people who only voted CES to prevent a No Lynch, but didn't put any effort into scumhunting after their own suspects.

And I was persecuted for my voting Oman earlier. I guess that doesn't make up for the fact that I helped kill the doc. Just know, I never succumbed to voting for CES.
