I love the idea of cop sanities being based on things other than Sane, Insane, Paranoid, Niave. I like the idea of it being based on Grammar or Spelling or even sex/gender.

Join dates (even month innocent/odd month insane) etc.

Could be full of bastard mod.

Actually, you can't vote AT ALL. Otherwise as soon as you die and your role is revealed everyone you voted is automatically cleared. (or at least do not belong to your faction)

I think it'd be interesting to have a mafia (or town, I guess) role that can't lie; it would require a certain amount of honesty, but they could weasel-word or just ignore some questions (Like 'Who are your scum partners', obvobv).

Have a mafia game with an absurdly complicated ruleset, and:

Mod's Assistant: (pro-town)

You are the Mod's assistant. If any player breaks any of the rules, you may PM the mod a message pointing out who and in what post, and they will be modkilled. You win with the town.

Bastardmod's dark side: (SK)

You are the bastardmod's dark side. Each night, you may choose a post restriction for another player in the game; however, it can not be so severe that it will make it nearly impossible for the other person to communicate (mod's discression). That person must obey that post restriction for the rest of the day. If that person violates his posting restriction, or if any player breaks any of the rules, you may PM the mod a message pointing out who and in which post, and they will be modkilled. You win if you are the last survivor; if it comes down to you and one other player during a day, you automatically daykill the other player and win.

Mod's bizzare typo: (neutral)

Each night, you may change any of the rules except the first 10 in any way you wish so long as it does not affect win conditions or make the game unplayable (mod's discression). This can be as subtle or as dramatic as you want; you can add, remove, or change the later rules as you will. You win if 5 or more players are modkilled.

In a similar vein, I'd like to see a game where two players were in charge of deadlines (one for day, one for night), one player was in charge of vote counts, etc. And make it a "smalltown" setup so that some of these powers are held by mafia members.

Ridiculous Bad Role- The moderator was to lazy to come up with flavor, or a name, and he is going to be bastardish about this role. You may only have ten words per post, always tell the truth, and if anyone you vote for is found "pro-town", you die a horrible death. You win when there is only 1 mafia member remianing on Day 5 while the third party player is still living and is planning on killing you that night, and the moderator is sipping tea while he reads the thread.

Bridge burner: every night you may choose one person who voted against another person that was not then subsequently lynched and that person must now only vote for that person. The chosen person is now also restricted to using only racial slurs against the person he is being forced to vote for. The bridge Burner wins when the thread has devolved into a hate war.

hehe...notice how I specificially said that any rules that make the game unplayable will not be put in, mod's discression. Which means if he sends in a rule change like that, he simply loses his night action for that night.
