~Don't Think About a Zebra~

Don't think about a zebra
no matter what you do,
for, if you ever think of one,
then soon you'll think of two.

And, after that, you'll think of three.
And then you'll think of four.
Then five or six or seven zebras.
Maybe even more.

And then you'll think of zebra herds
stampeding down the street,
and zebras wearing tutus,
disco-dancing to a beat.

You'll think of flying ninja zebras
practicing kung fu.
And zebra clowns from outer space.
And robot zebras too.

And zebras in pajama bottoms
bouncing on their beds,
and maybe even zebras
wearing diapers on their heads.

You'll wish you'd never thought of them,
so do it starting now:
Don't think about a zebra.
Only think about a cow.

~ Kenn Nesbitt

Spoiler: it's a...
baby zebra!!!

It should be really obvious that the first post after reading the thread is the one about cupcakes and duckcakes or whatever.

I cannot even fathom how someone reading the words in this game could ever default to that conclusion.

(I also do not know what motive you have, one way or the other, in continuing to justify that your interpretation was in any way reasonable. But it's kind of bizarre and enchanting, so I just have to make note.)

1) I have no idea what this has to do with the discrepancy I perceived
2) I have no idea how you think this is in any way logical from you to expect of any other human being

hahahaha

I am explaining what my interpretation was that lead to the original discrepancy, I am not trying to say that my interpretation is valid in the present

Here are my first 3 posts in this game:
In post 139, Iecerint wrote:Hello, I just worked for 14 hours, now I'm going to a birthday party, tomorrow I have the day off and will read and post.

VOTE: Starbuck

On page 6 when I saw the VC my eye was drawn to my name, and she was next to it, so I know she is a player in this game.

This is a post where I have not read the game yet. You can be sure about that because I say as much.
In post 210, Iecerint wrote:I love cupcakes and duckcakes.

This is a post where I have already read the game. This should be obvious because it is 1 day after the previous post (following morning after I finished having sex with my boyfriend), and it shows that I encountered and noted the nonsense in the first few pages.
In post 211, Iecerint wrote:
In post 202, Starbuck wrote:Wowza, Iec. I don't remember you going OMGUS on RVS votes before. This is kinda weird.

[...]

And now I'm stuck because I don't know what's scummier...

-Iec placing a vote after just not reading at all and seeing that it was just a stupid RVS vote

I do not understand your thought process. This is not how I would respond to a vote like mine.

I was intending to vote texcat because one of his votes seemed like peppy but also without following up, which is like wanting to participate but finding it stressful, but then I read his other posts and I think there are simpler explanations.

Everything in post 3 is after post 2.
Okay, I do kind of see this. The first line is a response to Starbuck. The second paragraph is TOTALLY UNRELATED to the Starbuck quote and is just a reflection of what I originally thought would be the content of the remainder of the post. However, as I went to check texcat out, I decided that I didn't think he was scum, after all, which left me without someone to vote. I do understand how someone would infer that paragraph 2 was an elaboration of paragraph 1 rather than a separate thing.

I also understand how the texcat business is totally off the fucking wall if you infer it that way (the basis of my previous incredulity). And I could understand that POV snowballing a little.

Starbucks says "I can't believe you voted me after not reading"
You say "I was intending to vote texcat..."

The discrepancy was based on me originally misunderstanding your texcat comment being in response to starbucks saying she couldn't believe you voted her

Your questions are easy.
Nacho what do you think of Starbuck?
Also I don't like that you say like three vaguely negative things about me but don't include me in your scumreads. It looks like you selectively chose your scum reads based on popular opinion and omitted me because I'm being largely townread.
So what is your actual read of me?

pedit: I did not explain why the wall (a few other posts in that area, too -- his TOWN/NULL/SCUM list made my stomach hurt) was scummy because I did not know why the wall was scummy. I just knew that there was something wrong with it. I posted as soon as I perceived it. Your subsequent post read like it was explaining the reason for my feelings to myself (which made me feel pretty good, in real-time).

Would be push so hard on me as scum? He is wrong about me, but I think it might come from a townie perspective?

Can you explain your thinking?

They're both scum. I don't much care which one we nuke today.

Though, this could get interesting pending what DGB does next...

See, I am a vengeful variant.

So, I don't really care if you lynch me, all I have to do is decide which one of you I will get to kill.

I am thinking of killing Syryana mostly for emotional reasons, it just feels right that this is the player towards which my revenge should be directed.

You should have seen me enough times to know that a lot of people have this opinion of my d1. My reads are usually based on reading (listening), and we have two ears and one mouth for a reason.

Luckily, nobody has questioned my questions, so we haven't seen this guy yet.
