If talking generally, Sonic is a good choice. On this board in particular, it almost has to be a Touhou character. I can't distinguish them, but Vi has told me many, many times that they "aren't anime."

I'm not very familiar with it, but I don't think the GAME looks bad at all. It looks like a fun shoot things game.
What I have trouble understanding is how a game like that can inspire fanboy/girling about the characters within it.
