I don't know if it still exists or not; I'm not sure if it's ever been established one way or another. It could still be hanging on in some sort of post-apocalyptic scenario.

Of course, I think the plan was to crash the plane into Dominaria, in which case we can do a Return to Rath and a Return to Dominaria in a single block!
One time, back in 'nam, Sudo was set upon by an entire squadron of charlies. He challenged them all to a game of Pictionary, which he won resoundingly. The charlies were forced to not only surrender the skirmish, but also their world-famous chili recipe, which Sudo sold to Texas for a hefty profit. Sudo is a master of diplomacy.

Yeah, Rath was negated in the Rathi Overlay, where the Phyrexians invaded and Teferi phased Zhalfir.

So you're saying we should do Return to Dominaria, Rath, and Zhalfir as a single block?

Obvi. I'd love to find out what Teferi is up to these days. He's immortal, after all.

Seems like a good place to put this conversation I had recently.

Spoiler:
Contessa: No, Joihra of the Ghitu
Contessa: friendly reminder she is still living on Dominaria, too.
✿ fremy: truu
✿ fremy: fuckin missed opportunity right there
Contessa: I mean her and Teferi are totally chilling in their time castle fucking right now
✿ fremy: ha
✿ fremy: theyre like beyonce and jay-z
Contessa: Except ageless time wizards
✿ fremy: so they ARE beyonce and jay-z
Contessa: But yeah, they did their important stuff years ago and now just live lives of hedonism now thst the multiverse has passed them by
Contessa: Like JayZ and Beyonce too, they live in a post-apocalyptic wasteland.
Natirasha is just a vestige, it's Contessa now.

They could bring back Urza and Mishra from the dead! It'll be great!

Is it really?
The only thing I know about Innistrad is that there were Werewolves and Vampires in it. I signed up for MTGO just so I could play those drafts but I don't see them anywhere. :(

Flashback drafts only stick around for two weeks or so, sadly. Rise of the Eldrazi should make a return appearance around Christmas, and I'd recommend you get in on those, they're rad.

I couldn't find the Innistrad drafts earlier when I signed up either.
I missed it already, didn't I?

I found some thread on reddit from almost two weeks ago based on the draft.
It must have only been live for, what, a week?
That's practically nothing.

Two weeks, but it was the one before and after Halloween. It was only Flashback Drafts anyway, you'll get to gorge on Innistrad in April when Shadows comes out.

I hope it's good. Oath already is on shaky terms with the revelation it's 2HG-focused.

From what I've read, the set isn't 2hg-focused, just the Prerelease. Don't think that's a bad thing, tbh.

During the planarchaos prerelease(I think, maybe futuresight?), they had a 2hg option, I entered it with my friend. Because it's 2HG the rounds are 1game long. In round 2, after winning, middle of the game ,we are crushing, I draw a card from my partners deck, turns out he has 39 cards at that point and I have 41. I call a judge on us, expecting to get a game loss = round loss. He says because 2hg is a 1 game round, that instead if we win we'll just get 1 fewer points, but we have to start over with legal decks. Ok, restart the game, still 'win', but concede because getting 1 less match point would have fucked us anyway. Such a stupid ruling.
Taking a break from the site.

well, maybe it'll be better with them focusing on it a little bit more. I find it to be a fun diversion during prerelease time, and that's about it.
