OK, there's a lot more information in the last 8 pages to take into account.

The cop claim... My instinct is that ~N9v~ is telling the truth. Only claiming one result initially is worrying me a little, but I guess if his mind wasnt on the game at that point he might have just had his most recent result in mind. I really hope he's not scum, because no-one seems overly suspicious of him, including myself.

Having said that, he has innocent results on two of my top suspects. I'm not sure I can put too much faith in his results as he could be naive, insane or one of them could be Godfather Wolf. Notice how the scum didnt try and target him last night. Is that because they thought he would be protected, or because they know he's not sane and aren't too worried? I am not sure.

One question: ~N9V~, what made you claim when you did? What was going through your head?

Also, I am starting to get suspicious of Jordan again... I had been thinking he was likely to be a particular pro-town role (the name of which I will not mention), but then I read a recent post that made it look extremely unlikely that he is in fact the pro-town role I was thinking of.

As for the mass claim, I am still considering whether I fully support the idea. I threw it out there for some reactions because I thought it is more likely for town to support such a move, and for scum to sit back and see which way it's going to go. I don't think the wolves would really be keen on claiming today.

I do think we should get a full claim from ~N9V~ today, as it might help town to know whether we can trust him, and it might give some clue as to his sanity.

I like that Pookie is trying to stimulate some form of action. Why he chose theopor for a random wagon this close to potential lylo, I am not sure, but, people have responded to it. I don't know if there is a specific reason why it's still going on - I suppose that if theo is scum, his buddies are unwilling to bus him, and if he's town and pooky is scum, again, buddies are unwilling to jump onto such a strangely constructed wagon. I have no problem following him for now, but I would like his reasoning, even if it's pooky-reasoning and doesn't make sense - before anyone actually gets lynched. Otherwise we'll have a repeat of what happened yesterday, with Niempie, where someone just votes someone and everyone else piles on.

We have all seen how far we get with accusations and arguments back and forth. There's plenty in the thread to get stuck into, for those who really want to find scum. How many wolves do you think we have in this game, theo, and who are your top suspects for those slots?

Care to point out where exactly I've been following instead of putting forward opinions of my own. When you've done that I'll go and analyse everyone else. Admittedly I've done jack all this day so far but I'm not the only one in that camp.

I'm not going to start speculating on scum as such until I've re-read which I've still not done so when I've done that I'll respond to that.

And you still don't want to speculate on who is scum? If you're town you have no reason to even be playing this game. As for your day 2 posts, I am looking over them now and I acknowledge that you were being a bit more opinionated back then. But I still think you were sliding by with generic "let's put some pressure on" and "let's generate some discussion" and "I agree with..." and prompting for others to talk. You were looking promising with your vote on Jordan, but then when Jordan asks "why should I be lynched?" you told him you don't find anything very scummy, you were just throwing in a vote and testing for reactions... That just felt fake to me.

And you are right, I have cleared some others in my mind, labelled them as more likely to be town. Have not kept detailed reasons why as that kills the fun of the game for me. It is just my compounding impressions of people as I read the game.

Fine, but you can see why I find your argument full of holes without any detailed explanation of reasons why ppl are scummy, why they're more townish. I'd agree I've been pretty non-committal with this game on the whole but I think the same could be said for everyone bar Skruffs and Jordan who seem to be continuing on with their own little argument, including yourself bar the last week or so. It's been going on a good five months and I don't think anyone has a good enough grasp of what's going on, probably a good reason why claims may help.

Seperately you say, Jingolaw, your convinced is scum, why exactly? Aside from being pretty unhelpful, which a group of others have been too, why are you so convinced.

Moving on if we're moving towards claims, I'd rather we just got on with it, everyone claim role and no one comment until all claims are finished. I'm not overly fussed with the order as bitching over who goes first will only delay the process. I do however feel we need everyone to chime in.

The whole picking holes in the other person's arguments is what I am trying to avoid as I dont think that back and forth stuff gets us far, plus I really dont have the energy. Re: Jingolaw. I believe he's scum from a process of elimination, a lack of evidence of towniness and I agreed with the reasons Shanba gave earlier. With the number of wolves likely still alive it makes just as much sense to ask yourself why he (or any other player) ISN'T scum. And in my reckoning, he is the scummiest of anyone. I can go back and detail some of my reasons if necessary but would REALLY like to hear from some others.

OK, here's an idea... instead of a full claim, we pick our 3 most suspicious to claim. That way, hopefully we can get some good info but with a bit of luck not expose our doctor (if there is one..)

If, after 3 claims, we still feel like we need more info, we could proceed to a full claim. But we might have a good candidate for a lynch by then and not need to expose any more roles today.

If we go ahead with this we should all indicate our 3 most suspicious and tally them up. Mine obviously are

Okay I'd prefer if we're claiming we all claim, not just three, and no one comments until its done. I'd rather the wolves don't dictate somehow the three who need to claim, I haven't got a problem claiming, but if I'm doing it then everyone else is or we just claim flavour and not role.

I think as a matter of course we need some prods and replacements of Ancalagon and Miztef.
