Yeah, I know Gravity did. And sure, Liquid did, too. But at least the time with Liquid had a bit more back-and-forth.

It was like TSM was running around with their heads chopped off this entire series.

The wait period is 24hours now. (It has been changed from the huge unreasonable 2 weeks)

They stopped doing selfies after like the first 10 people (and started doing one large group photo) and after about an hour a security came and said the 2000-3000 people line was causing a safety hazard and escorted TL out.

Disappointed in how TSM played in the finals, but can't take anything away from CLG - they played awesome and deserve the sweep!

Hoping C9 wins the gauntlet but realistically I'm expecting it to be TiP or TL. I know TL crushed TiP last time around, but I think TiP might put it back together. Nobody I actively dislike in the gauntlet so just hope to see some good matches!

On the EU side, I really really want to see UOL make worlds, but it's going to be a tough fight for sure against whoever they face.

Yeah, gauntlet should be a lot of fun. I think TL will probably end up taking it. C9 can maybe come in swinging if they really improved over the past few weeks. I don't think TIP have a shot though. They didn't look good at all last time. Gate has a very low champion pool from the look of it, Impact is for some reason refusing to play carry toplaners (or management is forcing him), and Rush looks out of form especially with target bans on him (Some dude asked Rush when he was walking back to his hotel why he didn't play nidalee and Rush answered annoyingly "She was permabanned!").

I don't think GV can win either. I just don't see them being able to cheese enough games to win.

Even if they did, that wouldn't fly at Worlds.

My personal bet's on Liquid. Unlike Curse last year, they actually really have the chops to make it.

I think this is probably pretty accurate:

Perhaps a bit bearish on C9 given their improvement and probable continuing improvement, but I don't think it's by much (Probably more of a 50/50 shot at beating Gravity, which only improves their overall chances of facing liquid by bout 2%).

the opposite, actually. Bullish is rates higher than expected. Bearish means worse than expected. A bear market is one that is performing poorly, a bull market is one that's soaring.

I probably don't give much credence to the ELO stuff across regions rather than within regions. The number of games that have been played across regions is trivial for elo purposes and out of date. More effective is where teams stack in relation to each other within a region. You can also see the weakness of its approach when playoffs start because teams that lose in playoffs will continue to be moved down while teams that weren't in playoffs will stay steady. For example, I don't believe that SK is better than UoL, but they have a higher ELO rating because UoL got 3-0ed (a sizeable ELO subtraction) while only beating ROCCAT 3-2 (a small ELO bump)

Mistaking "bear" for the desirable term is easy to understand!
