So really they need to actually win this thing.

Which is unlikely, IMO. I think TL is just a stronger team.

I've personally learned to never underestimate playoffs TSM. They always manage to find feats of utter bullshit.nd pull it off.

And I don't even like TSM.

Playoffs TSM always show up, but I still think Liquid has the advantage because:

1) TL has had an extra week to prepare (assuming they spent the week before GV/TSM prepping 50-50 for each, or they spent it doing more general prep)
2) TSM already had to bring out a specific strategy vs. GV. TL knows that TSM can run Olaf comps, so they're going to have something prepared for that (unlike GV, who likely didn't expect it at all)
3) TL still has stronger individual players.

Zoraster is correct. In the case of a tie, summer placement wins out.

Not sure what they're doing about ROCCAT vs. Giants. While it doesnt really matter for number of matches they have to play in the gauntlet, higher seed gets side-pick advantage, so I'm not sure how they're dealing with that.

Roccat are the higher seed in the playoffs, so maybe they'll get the side pick.

1) If you think TSM wasn't preparing for Team Liquid in the event they won, you're kidding yourself. Further than that, if you think TSM wasn't preparing for TL at least 50% of their time during the 2 week break, then you are underestimating their arrogance.
2) Who is to say TSM doesn't have another strategy, or even that TL can ban out TSM's strategies?
3) Bjergsen is better than Fenix(And the single best player in NA), Amazing is better than Dominate and Lustboy is better than Xpecial (Though that one is really close). TSM's weakness comes at ADC (Dyrus vs. Quas I think comes down to jungle pressure, and since I think Amazing is better than Dominate, we'll have to see how that plays out) and whether WildTurtle can do his job well enough to not lose the game or lose lanes to hard. Turtle does a good job at lane swaps (though I expect Lustboy has something to do with that) so we'll have to see.

Hmm, maybe a new skin's more likely. I'm not gonna doubt the likelikehood that Riot has a new champ in the works, but I kinda expect such a champ to not be released until after Worlds. Or at least not be ready for pro play until after Worlds.
