Assuming a player is anti town just because they disagree with you is not a pro town thing to do.

I am starting, personally to come around to the mass claim line of thinking, however, when a player asks you to answer questions, or point to a specific post where you DID answer them, it is not at all the unreasonable request you're painting it out to be, even if he DID call you a name.

At this point I don't care at all what IH wants. I tried to be civil with him, he failed, so I don't care if he wants a glass of water dying from thirst in the desert. He'll have an easier time teaching France how to win a war.

And I only responded to your post as such because you dropped all courtesy toward me. I haven't completely written you off yet, but I'm close.

If your response to my original post was more along the lines of "I understand IH was a dick, but I would still ask you to point this out to me", I would have responded in a more courteous way myself. You did not, so I don't feel like doing anything for you at this time.

About the mass claim: like I said, I'd rather we discuss things first, but the way I see it, it's likely to give us either 5 or 6 confirmed innocents, depending on if a power role died or not. We don't have many mislynches this game; by my count, worst case scenerio, we could lose after 3 mislynches (less if the vig kills wrong), because if we haven't seen a scum or the lyncher die by then, the scum + lyncher vote together for the lynch target and the town loses, basically putting us into lynch or lose a day early; lyncher votes with the scum in lynch or lose, so we have to treat it like there's a 5 person scum group. So narrowing down the list of probable scum (and lyncher) certanly helps our odds. Like I said, I WOULD like us to vote first, before the claims, because the "lynch random townies plan" dosn't necessarally win it for us either unless we lynch the right townies, and I don't like the way some people (like Guardian) have just randomally started claiming.

Dude... You are not allowed to decide what posts you do/do not respond to in a game of mafia. If someone makes a legitimate request for information, YOU FUCKING ANSWER IT.

To do anything besides that is simply put: Anti town.

I don't care if a player kicked your mama in the crotch, if they make a request which I consider to be fairly reasonable, and you not only completely disregard it, but also mock them for it, I am going to come after you fairly hard. The fact that you treated me the same way (ignored the original request, and then telling me to get bent when I angrilly restated it) went miles for me in determining who was right in the you/IH debate.

Also, let me point out that you were ignoring IHs requests before he got angry at you, otherwise there would be no reason for him to get angry, so you just lied to the town on top of your anti-town play.

Post 212: IH posts his long post detailing his concerns... all of which have been pretty much addressed if he would have read.

Post 216: I try to alleviate his concerns andway.

Post 217: IH insults me than claims I never addressed his main point.

Post 218: I show IH I actually responded to that specific concern not a couple posts back, namely post 208. I also kindly ask him to drop the insults.

Post 219: IH ignores my previous post, claims the exact same concern (which I just addressed...) and insults me again for good measure...

Post 226-234: Guardian tries to alleviate IH's concerns, IH wants Guardian to repeat his points verbatim that he already explained at least 3 times already in the thread. However IH is god and demands he do it again instead of forcing him to *gasp* read the exact same thing a couple pages back...

Post 236: I try to completely ignore IH and make it obvious to him I'd rather not start anything at this point.

Post 238: IH again brings up the same things that have been asked multiple times...

Post 239: I begin to lose my cool and am tired of what IH is trying to sell. I start to think he is trying to force us to explain to his scum buddies how to claim so he doesn't look suspicious doing so. This is why I vote him.

Post 240: IH goes too far. He insults me multiple times in the same post and tries to write them off at the same time.

Just read it all. You didn't even come close to addressing all the points in his first post. You addressed one of them, and then got pissy when he pointed out that there were more.

I count 7 seperate concerns IH raises in his original post. You RESPONDED to one of them, and quotes a response to one of the others. That leaves 5.

Crumbs. I was formulating a reply to IH in which I tried to prove that massclaim would be a good idea, and it hit me that it wouldn't. No matter who the scum killed, we would end up with 11 claimed townies (5-6 townies, 3-4 scum, 0-1 lyncher, 0-1 doc and the rest power roles, whether the scum killed a townie or a power role. Which means the scenario I thought would happen where we could clear people by the amount of claimed townies doesn't actually happen.

The actual benefits to a massclaim in which case are not very high. It would allow us to know there was up to one scum in the claimed power roles which could let us clear a bunch of people eventually if we lynched a claimed power role and he turned up scum. Geh. Now I'm confused. I think it boils down to we can't rely on claims at all this game. I'mma have to rethink things.

So Kinetic, IH called you an Idiot, and then you decided to be a total dick to not just him, but basically everyone else playing the game. You ignored IH completely and decided to not answer his concerns and questions. You do understand that that makes you look antitown. And shea is right, you did not answer everything IH raised.

Now with the massclaim, there are ups and downs. With the claim, we lower the amount of people we have to look at, and that is everyone that claimed townie. This of course, relies totally on what the mafia killed last night. If they killed a power role, then we are basically screwed.

Also with the lyncher we'll also be unsure of how many scum have claimed what, because I doubt the lyncher will come out and tell us.
