I really think a massclaim will be beneficial. The only thing I'm afraid might happen is that Steven dying will do something stupid that hurts us.

If we don't think a massclaim is good at least a name-claim should help us more than it hurts us.

I think we should wait until/if MS flips scum before considering a massclaim, to see if scum's fakeclaims really are that bad. Otherwise it will more likely than not be more beneficial to scum than town.

And personally, I'd considerably prefer it if Steven was kept ambiguous. (No, I'm not Steven.)

Fakeclaims might be a thing, but they will not be something like Steven or Amethyst. They will be B or C side characters. Everything until now made sense with the flavor. Not as much as made sense, but it was just flavor.

For example, Lars is a jerk that usually makes Sadie work in his place. Sapphire has a future vision and is in love with Ruby.

In Charmed Mafia, I had a fakeclaim of one of the Charmed sisters (the main characters) while I was really an evil demon. I don't think that we can go "main character" therefore town.

That's the problem. The longer we take to massclaim, the less effective it becomes. It's not really bad to skip a day (assuming BP) early. It's really bad to skip a day close to LyLo.

If Sonic doesn't flip scum we are at the point where losing a day phase will hurt.

Also not all scum will have a good fakeclaim. If one of them it's not the end of the world. There are bound to be at least 1-2 scum with bad fakeclaims. Probably more.

Sure and it's possible that scum mess up claims. I'm not denying that it's possible for scum to have a bad fake claim. Yet, we don't give scum information based on what

could

be. If we see evidence of scum having bad claims, then we mass claim it. Otherwise, if roles are linked to flavor, then scum get a huge boon if they have decent fake claims.

Nothing changed. That was me trying to get something out of Sonic. Right now his play doesn't resemble anything I know of him. This gambit actually puts him into the town pile for me though.
